Great kit
Last ebike I ordered the 2000w kit, this time I decided to spend a little extra and get the 3000w kit and I'm glad I did. Amazing power. I'm not much into top speed, just like the extra power for hills/acceleration but the kit free wheeled at 78mph. I've gotten it up to 40 on power 2 of 3. I'd guess it's easily a 50+ kit. Im 6'3" and weigh 240lb and bike has no problem cruising me around lol

Nice update on equipment
This company does listen and does actually change things with feedback. Just give them some time.

Funnest bike ever.
This is the perfect kit in my opinion because it can hit 60mph and it has a 7 speed cassette so it still rides like a normal bike. It's not normal. The fun factor is off the charts. I can ride by law enforcement without attention.

Nice quality...
Impressed with every piece that came in this kit. The 3000 watt motor is strong and silent. Glad I didn't go with the 5000 watt for the sake of battery life. Make sure to buy the correct battery that matches up with this motor and controller. Most importantly get an 80amp BMS rating. Down side is I overpaid by like $300.

Upgraded 100A Controller? That's a cool surprise!
For starters, I'm very impressed with NBPOWER (the seller). Impressed enough to wire a novella, heck THE NOVEL... that I would have liked to have read before I committed by better part of a grand $ to this product. Spoiler alert - zero regrets, but some good build advice for my studious builder friends.Anne is amazing... just wow. Ask her anything, she cares more than any rep I've ever dealt with, is very knowledgeable and well, the experience was so first class that after this purchase... I went on to purchase all the parts for another entire E-motorcycle build (72V-50AH MONSTER) Never have I had someone work soo hard to make sure I got everything I knew I wanted (and the things I didn't know wanted, that I would have really missed without the guidance)So anyways... back to the subject of this motor!First: Get ready, this thing has a lot (JEEZE) of torque. I pulled thru a torque arm before I doubled up and added added additional bracing [FYI: you DON'T wanna do this, if you pull the hub motor out of your rear forks you can damage the phase or hall wires when they twist around the suddenly free hub and unless you've opened a hub motor and rewired hall sensor connections or repaired damaged phase leads before- this could potentially ruin your day- double up your torque arms, save yourself the heartache](the image is from the initial layout, before we welded additional steel onto the rear fork, went ham on the torque arms etc.) That's what I get for riding wheelies before more extensive stress testing. Be Smarter Than Me!Second: Make sure your battery can support the wattage! I was expecting an 80a controller and correspondingly build a 100a battery for it, and I'm a bit of an electronics purist so I did decide to nerf the motor slightly to keep breathing room for my BMS. You can use a BMS up to its full rating for the record, headroom is simply just a way to ensure nothing works too hard. (except your wallet haha!)Third: The controller came programmed at 72V (which was fine because it happened to match the voltage I needed/built for) but should one try to plug in a fully charged 48V battery (I tinker, so of course I have spare 48V batteries lying around lol) it will power up and show the battery at 0% (since top of charge-48V is 54.6V and bottom of charge -72V is 56V) you will have a hell of a time getting the app to work with you until you get in range. (don't omit plugging in the alarm key dongles- for some reason it helps you save your settings even though you don't have to attach them to physically use the device you may see issues saving parameters... get to know your controller, it doesn't bite though it is complex and has a few quirks- just be glad the factory settings alone will get ya moving)Forth: While I'm the lucky guy who got the 100A controller instead of the 80A, I would say to those who are ready to go THIS far down the ebike-motorcycle rabbit hole.... why not spend a few hundred dollars more and go for the 5000w or 8000w? You're already dealing with industrial grade torques, I'd just go on and mount this class of electric motor on one of their Stealth Enduro Frames so you can get the 1000lb rear shock, put a good front fork on, toss on HYDRAULIC disk brakes and go ride your butt off. The monster I just ordered with Anne will keep me happy until I finally break and buy a Tesla. Even then, after you commute to work a few times on one of these your gas daily driver might start to feel lame af. In fact any vehicle that makes noise and doesn't fit thru doors, ride on sidewalks and scare your pants off with crazy torque may feel comparatively lame.Well, that covers it. Thanks for reading, good luck with your build, if you've actually read this to the end you really care about your build and understand that I just want to share the love. WEAR A HELMET!
