All Natural and a healthy treat!

My dogs loves these treats. I just wish they were not so expensive. They are nothing but dried sweet potatoes so I don't know why they are so expensive, probably cause the dogs like them so much!! I wouldn't normally have spent $18 on a large bag of these, but they were sent to me by mistake in one of my orders and when I contacted the company about the mistake, they told me to keep them. Now I know why - dogs get hooked on them so I had to order them again.

My dog love sweet potatoes. I had been buying them Beefeaters Sweet Potato treats, but then I saw these Sam's Yams Sweet Potato Dog Chews and thought that they would be a better, healthier choice. Now, I realize that these treats are advertised as "Veggie Rawhide" but they were harder and tougher than any rawhide I've ever encountered. Literally hard as a rock! My four year old Pug turned his nose up at them. I guess he didn't like the smell/taste for the 2 seconds before he spit it out. My 14 year old Lab mix tried to chew on it, until he finally gave up and just swallowed it whole, choking on it until I struck him hard enough on the back to knock it loose. Scary! Unless you have a dog with a very, very strong jaw and teeth, that loves to chew and never chokes, I would not recommend these. Threw our bag in the trash.

I really like these for dog treats. I have a 10 pound Pomeranian and she loves them. I tried the thicker flat chew style hoping they would take her longer to eat (acting more as a chew), but I like these better. They are the perfect size for her to get a little bit of chew time (a few minutes) and a healthy treat.

My dogs seemed to like them...but there are only 6 chips in a bag. I paid almost $7 dollars and with 4 dogs they're not going to last long. Just not worth it for me. I would recommend if the price want an issue...but I won't be buying them again.

I was expecting them to be more like pig ears (by which i mean large, and kinda thin) instead they're like dried, very hard, thick nuggets of sweet potato. They leave the skin on which shrivels into sharp edges. Overall, my dog couldn't even eat half the bag because they were too thick and hard for him, plus being so small I was scared he would just try to swallow it and choke. I'll be making my own from now on. Very disappointed.

We got a partial bag of these from a friend whose German Shepard mix refused to eat them. Our Labradoodle went nuts over them so I found them on Amazon. They are just plain and simple dehydrated sweet potato slices so maybe a little over priced. We don't have a food dehydrator and we caught them on a little sale so just bought a couple bags.As with any chew treat, supervise your dog!
