What a great chromebook. Got this because I was not happy with my HP chromebook. It was dim, colors muted, and horrible resolution. It was bottom lit, not back lit like this Acer. The display is awesome, very bright, reasonably fast (I did want the faster Mediatek version, but wasn't available) but this intel is no slouch. Capable of multitasking, media consumption, light gaming. The convertible functionality is what rocks here. Just flip the screen back and you are in tablet mode. Got several years left of Chrome OS updates left. Very happy.

I had a full size laptop, complete with some sort of fancy graphics mumbo jumbo, and a DVD drive, so on and so forth. That battery life was about 45 minutes. I have yet to reach a low battery warning on this device, with 10 hours use. Mind you, I am not a gamer. I use the internet and occasionally stream movies or shows. There are a couple annoying features, but they're easy to get used to. Namely, the letters on the keyboard are lower-case, the keyboard doesn't have a "Delete" button, and where the "Caps Lock" button usually is there is a "Search" button, which accidentally gets pressed on occasion. Other than those things, the device is perfect, and I look forward to using it for a long time.

I've used this chromebook for almost 3 years and have absolutely loved it. I'm sad that I need to upgrade to something with more RAM and processor speed because 4gb isn't enough to support all the tabs and windows I need for my work. The hinges are a potential weak point, but mine only broke because the computer fell onto a hard hospital room floor. I was able to get replacement hinges for a low price and they work like new. I've had to clean the track pad a few times, which is to be expected after a lot of use, and the computer just keeps running. I've had to powerwash it a few times as well, but setup is always easy with chromebooks, and having things saved on the cloud means I don't really lose any important files. The touchscreen and 360 rotation makes it really versatile, especially when I used it to stream movies for my little one who was hospitalized and needed to watch something familiar and comforting. I've also enjoyed the connectivity options with my android phone, being able to unlock the laptop when my phone is unlocked, sharing my phone data as a hot spot when I don't have access to wifi, having the same apps and synced info, etc. Google owns me, and i have no problem with that. The USB C charger is fast and works with many other devices, and there is a charging port on each side of the computer. I have a sentimental attachment to this little laptop because it's been with me through so much, and I plan to continue using it, as well as share it with my kids when I upgrade to a faster chromebook for work. It's still supported until 2030 and is a solid little computer for web users!

I bought this after researching for a <$300 replacement for my Windows PC. I had a Chromebook around 10 years ago and it was horrible, so I was wary about buying one again. This has been perfect, for my purposes. If you only browse the web on your computer, you don't really need anything else. The processor holds up, even with a million tabs open. It functions well enough as a tablet or laptop. With the inputs and two way USB-C, I am able to hook it up to a monitor while charging and plug in a keyboard and mouse.

We brought two of Avery Chromebook 311 Spin CP311 First week Dec 2020. As of the last week of July 2021 both computer batteries died within 5 days of each other. We thought it might been both charger. So we purchased new chargers. Both chargers worked on one computer but only if it was on the charger for more than 7 hours. A computer Tech said both Batteries are completely dead. This battery is not replaceable thru ACER you have to order online and they ship from oversee. It will take1.5 months to receive a battery. Battery cost $89. Do not buy.

Bought this for my husband and we're both impressed with the beautiful display and easy to navigate functions! Video playback us excellent. Hubby plays online poker and likes the vivid colors. Nice tablet!

Amazing product for the money. Fast, nice touch screen, works perfectly. I don't know yet about the battery's life because I'm using the ac power most of the time.
