DONYER POWER 1500W Mini Electric Fireplace Tabletop Portable Heater,14'' (Black, Metal)

We ordered our fireplace February 1, 2022 and it worked like a champ. We originally bought this fireplace to offset the cold in the front of our Class A Motorcoach while we ran our heat pumps on colder days below 40. It worked perfectly. This year, we are using it as the only heat source hooked up to 30 amps. I am sure this fireplace would still be working however, we are hooked up to a repair shop and the constant power surge did the little guy in. We never had a noise issue, and it did a pretty good job of keeping the front of our motorcoach warm with closing the doors to the back of the coach. and keeping the shades down overnight. To be fair, during 12 degree nights, it was not toasty in the morning, but warm enough to not freeze our bum off.. You have to remember we are heating 240 SF with heat loss through windows in a coach that is not winterized. It has done a remarkable job-- just bought another one and bummed I have to wait a day to get this.. thank goodness we have electric blankets!

This heater is adorable! It's about the size of a space heater so pay attention to the measurements if you're looking for it to fit in a certain space or if you think it's going to be larger than it looks. Even though I saw the measurements, it was smaller than I was imagining. It's exterior finish is really nice and the fire is calming and flickering just like a real fire. It's perfectly silent on the fire only mode. The fan for the two heater modes is quiet, not very loud at all. It puts out a good amount of heat for it's size. It will smell for a while when you first turn on the heater function but that wore off after about an hour. I'm really happy with it.

This little heater is small, but it is lovely. The fan-forced heat takes the chill from the air in a small room. While it is obvious the flames are artificial, it still creates a warm and inviting “fireplace” ambience. My one complaint (and hence, one star removed) are with the legs/feet for the unit. They are plastic while the heater exterior is metal; the heater is light enough to be supported on the plastic legs. The freakishly large screws to attach the legs, however, were a NO-GO. I went to the local hardware store and purchased #6, 1/2” long screws (8 of them) which worked great! Nice little space heater fireplace. I like it!

It's a tiny thing that does give off a good amount of heat. Usually you'd think that these heaters would last a few years, not a few months. Didn't even get passed March (and broke during the Covid-19 epidemic where everyone is freaking out and I have to stay inside to Quarantine). Switch on the back (the 1 switch) that activates the unit decided to break randomly. I do not recall giving it much pressure and just turning it on like I usually do. The spring inside the switch seemed to dislodge so I tried opening the back up only to find that the manufacturers made it impossible to remove & take apart the switch for self repair. Something like this should be easily fixed but they've made it impossible to fix. So what did I do with the unit? Curb stomped it and threw it into the trash. Ridiculous that an item that costs $60 wouldn't even last the entire winter. Avoid buying this thing if you plan on giving it heavy use because it is definitely not fit for heavy use.

This beautiful heater is warming up my living room this weekend while I wait for Monday when they can fix my furnace. I’m sure it will continue to be useful, as auxiliary heating and just an added treat over the Christmas break. The heat output is just about right, not too hot and not too cold. It has no remote control (?). It was the least expensive electric fireplace I could find and it is good quality. It has a safety shut off feature, which is nice, in case the appliance overheats. It came already assembled, was light weight and easy to install. The instructions were thorough and helpful.

Just receieved this and love how tiny and cute it is. Not needed for heat at the moment because it’s summer time in Arizona, but I’ve been running the fireplace light as just a light, and it’s been working perfectly fine. I almost didn’t buy this due to certain bad reviews, but I’m so glad that I did. Arrived without any damage. Eaay to unpack.

The clicking noise is coming from the rod that turns to create a flame. I took the back cover off and the hole that the rod goes through is oblong not round so the rod goes up the drops and makes the noise. I took two Q tip stems and inserted them into the hole and it works fine. No noise. The heater works fine and puts out good heat.

It’s cute and perfect size for a small apartment. My kids just adore the little fire place as soon as they saw it. They love to lay down on the rug beside it now because it is cozy. It keeps the living room warm even at just 2. I love that I have the option not to install the legs. I can also just unplug if I decide I need it somewhere else. The only thing I don’t like is that its says 14.8” in the order page. It is actually not even 10”. I prefer a smaller sized electric fire place around these sizes but it just feels disingenuous to have it 5 inches shorter than advertised. There was a chemical smell that was blown out on our first few minutes of use but it eventually disappears. Over all we are loving it. Hopefully it lasts as we prepare for winter.

Bought this to use in my bedroom to take the chill out and it works well. Like the visual of the fire along with the heat. There is a strong plastic smell when used the first time and also had a bit of a clicking sound. Think the sound might have been from the fire image. Lasted about 20 minutes and then haven't had either happen again. My cats love it as well

I was so excited to get this, and while yes, it is very pretty, it is very noisy, unlike in the product description where they say it is quiet. It was so noisy, like a rolling motor noise, that I had to turn up the sound of my tv to hear my show over the sound of the fireplace. Also, when you turn on the heat, it has a very nasty smell coming out of it, like melting plastic or something. I was so looking forward to using this for the winter while I livestream my gaming, but I can't even use this. 130$ paperweight. Its going in the garbage if I can't find a way to fix the noise. So disapointed

It’s getting cold these days and I finally start to use this small fireplace. It gives enough heat for a bedroom and the flame looks just like a real one. There are 3 heat outputs to choose and I like the the most powerful one. Very quiet and no strange smell, works perfectly.

Great little heater, wonderful looking flames but be careful to plug securely into the wall outlet, leaving no space in between or else the cord can get hot. Plug straight into wall only. But overall super happy
