Signature Highland Single Malt Non-chill Filtered Scotch Whisky 46% Alcohol/Vol 70cl Glass Bottle in Gift Box

I'm never really sure why the distilleries give the malts a name that never really mentions the distillery. This Cù Bòcan Signature is really a smoked expression from the Tomatin distillery and as such you can expect it to be a good quality. It is however only very lightly peated so a good way to introduce someone to a peated malt. On the nose the smoke is quite apparent but not overpowering, you also vet vanilla from the oak along with light citrus and sharp apple. On the palate you initially get the peat, but that soon disappears leaving that sharp crisp orchard fruit, but also hits of citrus.......for what I suspect is not too olds a whisky, the palate is surprisingly complex. The finish is not too long but still carries on that smoke, but it is here that you can tell there have been sherry casks in the maturation as you get hints of raisin as well as that vanilla nuttiness from the other oak barrels used. I was actually very impressed with this malt, it shows a complexity of flavours above it's price point, would be a great gift even for the non peated whisky lovers

A lovely whiskey with smooth finish highly recommend it. Drinking this to unwind on a night is lovely or you could enjoy it through the winter months to knock the cold away

A very decent single malt - 46%, natural colour & non chill filtered - for a good price. Slightly smoky unusual taste almost sweet, very moreish - kept reaching for it over some age statement malts, just very pleasant to drink with a nice mouth feel., No burn whatsoever neat. At the price it's had to fault plus it as a nice back story about the 'ghost dog' & it's only made in the cold winter months (Google the video) The bottle design is very attractive- one of the nicest I have seen, lovely to look at and hold. Will definitely buy on a regular basis.

Bought for hubby as gift really appreciated and he said it was definitely a good dram and couldn't believe it wasn't more expensive a quality product very smooth taste. I love unusual shape bottles for art projects so win win

This is a really good dram and ticks all the boxes apart from an age statement (46%, unchillfiltered & natural colour). Not too smoky and definitely retains some of the Tomatin character. Good value peated malt.

Had high hopes for this one as I love Tomatin whisky which I believe is part of that distillery. Sadly none of the lovely mouthfeel that you get from Tomatin and lacking in any body and flavour. I have noticed a dramatic price increase and this makes this whisky very difficult to recommend. I will not replace it.

This is a real hidden gem. So many complex fruit flavours, with a gentle smoky backbone.

I bought this to try it and I was very pleasantly surprised. There are many more expensive single malts out there that in my opinion don’t hold a candle to this so at £35 it’s well worth it. I wouldn’t be surprised if they slap at least a tenner on the price soon or do what they did with Aultmore 12 and add a whopping 32 quid on Amazon. £44 - £76.

セールでしかも評価が高かったので購入してみました。結論から、オンリーワンのローピート燻製ウイスキーでした。 ローピートながら独特の甘みと香りがし、必ずしもピート感が高ければいいのではないと言うことが分かりました。 こちら、在庫があればしばらく後にリピートしてもいいと感じられる程完成度が高かったです。 美味しいウイスキーを有難うございましたm(_ _)m ^^)
