I tried to find a ready to eat risotto porcini mushroom like I purchase in Costco . So I decided to look in Amazon and found this one . Well I prepared t and it was delicious and so easy to put in the table. I am half ways my 6-pack package and will definitely buy it again. You can feel all the flavors. The cooking instructions are perfect they deliver a delicious Italian side dish.

I had this rosoto at a friend's house, and I rushed home and bought some. I'm very pleased. Easy to make it very tasty.

I am a risotto addict and love making it from arborio rice over the weekends. When I don't have time this product is an excellent alternative.It takes about 20 minutes and there is no need to stir constantly.Basically you boil liquid, add the package, stir and cover at a simmer.I use vegetable or chicken chicken broth instead of water, develop more complex flavor with Traders Joe's powdered mushroom mix and the addition of frozen vegetables at the last 6 minutes. I enjoy peas, summer squash, zucchini, tomatoes or asparagus or a combination.I also add about a 1/4 to 1/3 of broth and butter once it is completely cooked to avoid it from being sticky and stiff. If you add the additional liquid during the cooking time, you lose the "toothiness" and bite. Adding it before serving provides the final risotto to spread properlyGrate good parmesan cheese and some pepper and you are done.I never add salt since the package contains it.
