Heavy 3-Piece Jump Break Cue 19oz/20oz/21oz/23oz/25oz/28oz

After one season of two simultaneous leages, I have to say, this cue is awesome.I can jump a regulation jump shot with this, it is more difficult, than with a standalone jumper, but it works.Breaking with this cue, is awesome. I dont feel the need to buy an expensive breaking stick, this serves its purpose, and well.The sound is loud. You'll get used to it.Excellent value for money, no issues with it at all.The comfort of the cue is fine for breaking, no issues.

Decided to try to save my cue tips so I got this break cue. Works fine, solid and the added weigh helps with the break. For the price and quality I am very satisfied.

Want to improve your game, buy this cue. I bought the 28oz model and sank 4 balls on my 5th break. Well-made and has good balance considering the heavy weight.

I decided to quit relying upon house sticks for making my billiard breaks, as I was forced to use a different stick each time, with different tips, curved sticks, and a multitude of weights. To standardize my break, I bought this stick in the heaviest allowable according to the rule book. Mine is 25 ounces and pushes a ton of energy through the cue ball. The break sounds like lightning and my ball spread is much improved. Sinking a ball on the break has improved as well, as I move them all over the field of play. The grip feels very nice. I was skeptical about buying a dedicated break stick, but am very happy that I did. It is well made, very straight, and can be broken down to make a jump stick. It comes with plastic tips to protect the threads, which is nice to have. If you want a thunder stick, but don't want to hand over your retirement check to get it, then this is the one for you.

The cue is as advertised, it’s a great breaking cue. The jump cue is amazing, I’ve been shooting pool for over 20 years and have always had problems with jumping. I got his cue in and I made 4 out of 5 jump shots last night. I would definitely recommend this cue to anyone.

Long time player, my first J/B cue. After reading the reviews I contacted AB customer service with a couple of questions. AB has excellent customer service people, they respond quickly and are very knowledgeable. Here is my hands on review of the stick. The cue looks as pictured, very clean. 10 racks of 8 Ball on 4x8 table, I made 1-3 balls per rack on the break, all very good spreads. I tried the jump portion for 2 jumps, no problem. Some of the reviews were negative about the tip. The tip is very hard and yes it makes a sound. The tip must be scuffed up and chalked really well to preform as it should. 1 of the racks had a really great spread and played the rack with the J B cue, I made sure the tip was chalked well before every shot, I ran out using the AB J B stick. This is a good stick at a very good price. If you have problems breaking or jumping with this stick, it's not the stick.

After trying out a couple of my friends’ break cues I wanted to get one break cue without breaking the bank. This turned out to a great buy. Really solid cue with good energy transfer. I don’t play jump shots so I can’t comment on that feature. Very happy with the purchase

I have been using this stick for a few months and like it. I think the build quality is good, the finish is what you would expect for the price and it is good and heavy. I like that it will break apart into 3 pieces so you can use it as a jump or short shot stick. I would buy this again, it works as well as any expensive break stick I have tried in the past and it does not break the bank.
