So, I was in need of a ramp ASAP. It was delivered next day in less than 24hours which was perfect. It’s made quite well and is perfect for around 10-11 inche steps, without a harsh incline. I have yet to secure it to the threshold permanently. I ended up adding 2x4’s cut and screwed together for additional support on the bottom. I do believe it will handle the weight quoted but it just feels more stable with additional support in the middle and sides. For the price and quickness in delivery I don’t think this setup can be beat. It’s being used in the garage from the kitchen door steps to the garage floor fyi. Will work with single door only. If you have a screen or glass door in addition to the main door you will have to lock them open.

Perfect for getting my mom’s wheelchair in and out of the house.

Ramp does the job. A little bouncy but mostly sturdy. Made well for weight that is not too heavy.

We have two stairs from the garage into the laundry room, which, during recovery from Achilles surgery (nonweightbearing on leg) on a knee scooter and crutches, is my only entry/exit from our house. This size ramp is shorter than generally recommended (thus steeper grade) for "industrial" application (and probably ADA compliance) for the height involved, but is perfectly navigable for *me* (that doesn't mean someone not in reasonable shape) on these devices. (We didn't have the room for a longer one without totally rearranging the garage and perhaps parking outside.) There is a little raised ledge on both sides of the ramp, and I have to remind my wife to come all the way down the ramp, not try to step over the ledge, which is a trip/fall hazard for her. If you anticipate the need, get this in advance so you can secure it in place while you are sufficiently mobile. Anyone with a little ingenuity, a few blocks of wood, some angle brackets, and a few sturdy screws can secure the ramp. There is "flex" as others have pointed out, and I found putting a cinderblock underneath was irksome than the "give," which one stops "worrying" about quickly enough.

I'm so glad we bought this. I have to use a walker. We have one step to go to the laundry room and I had a hard time with that. Now with this ramp, I can go down easily. The slip resistance is great. It was easy to put up. After awhile I noticed that it put a hole in our tile so we put a small non-slip rug under the end of the ramp. It's still working great for me. We might buy a bigger one so I can get outside too. Definitely good value for the cost.
