The Last Wish Publisher: Orbit Mass Market Paperback – January 1, 2008

I was not sure what I was expecting when I started to read this book. After I finished it I wish there was more depth to the book. There was some very interest "Quests" through out the book which kept me invested. But the writing was very well done though.

This book was written in 1993, then translated to english in 2007. This has to be a fake

The Author wasn't even born in 1905. amazon needs to pull this. the arliest witcher story was written in the early 80's.

Fantastic. Short gritty, beautifully written, fairytale like stories that follow Geralt, The Witcher, on his travels in a world rich in old folklore.

very nice plot of random stories of Geralt :) it was a nice and easy reading book but the only problem is that it ended in only two days...

Absolutely fantastic, could not put it down. If you love the Witcher world or even just love fantasy then this is a must buy, known as the 'TOLKEN' equilivant, this is beautifully written and has a more mature feel compared to the 'nambi pambi kid-ish magicki' fantasy novels that are out there. Meticulous care has been implemented within the narrative especially with each character, forcing you to actually give a s**t about them.I have ordered every other book that has an English translation.
