Great for the price but not the best
Bought this for just starting to do leather work. Wanted colorful options but didn't want to break the bank. These are some great colors, wide variety and perfect for what I needed at the time. They tend to fray easily as the wax coating wears off as your sewing and it's kind of a pain if you're having to re-thread the needle. Also, the ends don't "melt" and stick together when you're finishing a knot. I realized this wasn't normal after buying a little bit better quality thread .With that being said, these were great for the price. They got me through my learning curve. They are nice and vibrant. I will keep them on hand for small/minor jobs. But if I'm going to do something larger/important I will definitely spend the money for something of a little better quality.

The size of the spool is smaller than standard
The colors look great. I know I probably missed the size description, but the spools are much smaller than normal waxed leather spools. Here's a picture of this product (Left) along side a standard size (right). It's not so much a complaint, because it doesn't hinder my projects, but I thought it might be something people could easily miss. (Like I missed it. lol)

Great colors and works so well
I have been so happy with this purchase. I bind my own journals and love when I can choose a color to match the journal. Material is good quality and a gem to have so many color options.

Nice!
This package was a great deal! It was thicker than expected but I wasn’t knowledgeable of weight and sizes for thread. It is durable and colorful.

Bought for bookbinding and leather sewing
Works well for bookbinding and leather stitching. My kids and I love all the colors. It is easy to tie off or burn/melt. I will definitely be ordering again!

Good Test Thread, Bad Final Thread
I bought this for the selection of colors. I wanted to see what I liked so I could order larger spools of whatever color that may be. Mostly it's a bit of a mixed bag where the color and quality are concerned. Physically, the thread is strong from it's construction and size. But the size is also a bit of a problem. And the color is a bit deceptive. This is not a round thread, it is very flat. And it's braided, not twisted together. The flatness means it's very easy to do things like push a needle through to thread it for saddle-stitching. But it also means that when you are passing the second needle through a hole, it's easier to puncture the thread already running through it from the first needle. The solution I used is to pull the first thread very taught to kind of open the hole a bit and squish the first thread against the side of it, then you can pass the second needle through. And even then you still need to make sure everything worked out okay. The color you see, in person, is a bit false. On some of the rolls they look very strong and vibrant, off the roll they become considerably paler. Some rolls the color is solid, and some there are small shifts lighter or darker. Some rolls have inconsistently applied wax, which contributes some to these issues, but some rolls that are waxed well also have these problems. This thread will rub off dye here and there, I think due to the wax consistency, most noticeably if the dye is dark. Of course, dark colors getting some dark dye on them doesn't really matter, lighter dyes it matters more.I would say the best use of this is to prototype and to experiment with color. Then find a better thread for the actual final project, production, or gift. As a "tester" of sorts, it does fine. Just be mindful of its flaws. Also, unroll it and rub the wax into it to get a sense of the true color of the thread you want to use.
