This is wonderful stuff!! I heard about it on a blog about how it is so relaxing and so I take it in the eve to help my muscles relax. I had researched it to see if it interacted with my meds and it didn't and so I have been taking it.But the problem is that I was researching the other day that with frequent (like every night-me) and long term use (I've been taking it several years as of now) can cause liver damage. Oh yeah rah! I look terrible in yellow. (Just kidding there, that's what I do when stressed) my dr did liver tests and my liver is fine. I vowed to stop taking it.I don't have an addictive personality, it's not in my genetic make up. I have been on several prescription meds and taken off cold turkey and no withdrawal symptoms. And other things the same way. But I do take meds that decrease my pain or discomfort. And I couldn't stop taking this and to be honest I don't know if I'm addicted to it or if it's because I'm addicted to not being being in pain

I use this product after a hectic day.Works really good for me.

I've been taking these for about 5 days now. I feel absolutely nothing when I take 2 capsules. I even upped my dose to 4 capsules. Still nothing. I've tried kava in the past, other brand, and felt the relaxation but these don't do anything for me. Figures, you get what you pay for. Spend more on a higher quality brand.

Pros: It is not very expensive and their customer service is excellentCons: Though they state 750mg per serving (2 pills), it is standardised to only have 5% kavalactones, which is 37.5mg kavalactones. Also, it is not clearly stated whether it is from root only, therefore it may potentially be harmful to the liver.

I have trouble sleeping and I have turned to Melatonin in the past, but for some reason, no matter what brand I try, have headaches in the morning, and it causes restless leg syndrome. I know that is weird, but my daughter says she has gotten the restless leg also. I found out about Kava when I was looking for help with anxiety (which really turned out to not be anxiety - long story), but I did find that when I took the Kava at night, i slept all night and woke up so refreshed! Even with the melatonin, I would toss and turn some, but this has been an amazing improvement! I am currently on my 2nd bottle, so still new to this, but so far, I have been very impressed!

This works very well to help take the edge off. Large bottle and it will last a while. I will keep using this.B. Hill
