Best Product and Perfect size for grinding Masala
i’ve been to Kerela on January 2025 and wanted to purchase this masala grinder but sadly traveling in flight with heavy luggage isn’t possible so i placed an order🙏 . After testing it was perfectly well made and packaging was done by haystacks and came without any problems/ damage. The Product is pure Granite and Heavy. Listing shows bowl-shaped mortar, but I got a cylinder.
The product I received is not what was shown in the listing. The pictures display a bowl-shaped mortar, but I received a cylindrical one instead. These two shapes are not interchangeable — the bowl shape is designed for grinding, mixing, and crushing ingredients evenly, especially for pastes, masalas, and wet blends. The curved base keeps ingredients from spilling out and allows smooth circular grinding. The cylindrical one I received is more suitable for pounding hard spices, not for the style of cooking I do. It’s harder to rotate the pestle, ingredients jump out, and it doesn’t give the same smooth texture. I specifically ordered the bowl-shaped design for everyday masala grinding, so receiving a different shape makes the product unusable for my needs. Please update the listing photos based on the product you are listing for delivery.
