The tree is lovely. Just fancied something to cheer up the house so decided to get this small tree and buy some glass Easter eggs to put on it. There are lots of lights and the branches are easy to manipulate and spread as you want them. Can’t comment yet on how robust it will turn out to be. I’m using the USB connection and particularly like that you can use this or batteries, depending on where you want it. This wasn’t the cheapest tree on Amazon but I think it looks better than the cheaper ones. I also bought the tree and eggs separately as I didn’t want plastic eggs and I’m glad I chose some more expensive glass eggs ( not sourced from Amazon]I’m looking forward to decorating this tree differently for Halloween and then Christmas.A great buy. Highly recommended.

I hadn’t realised the tree itself was coloured bright silver, so I’ve toned it down with brown paint to make it more like bark and it's made it look quite realistic! When the lights are on, you hardly notice the "bark" anyway!Apart from that, the lights are lovely and it’s easy to manipulate the branches and twiggy bits to the shape you require. Really looking forward to using it at the weekend.UPDATE! We've had this on most nights ever since last Christmas and have only had to change the batteries once. It's been much admired and I'm thinking of getting some as Christmas presents this year! I'll still paint the trunk and twigs though before I wrap them up!!

This little lamp is cute and has a nice glow to it, it can also be put on a lower light is doesn't flash nut does change which bulbs light up in a smooth rotation rather than a flash

I actually bought this as a present. As I wanted to make sure it wasn’t damaged, I opened the packaging and I was extremely disappointed at the way it looked. However, I plugged it in and it was just delightful. So I kept it and bought another one for my friend. It can be charged and you can use batteries. The trouble is that you can’t take it from the charge. It has to remain on the wire which is a shame as it looks particularly good in the middle of a table or on a mantelpiece so I went down the route of batteries.I’ve had this on since before Christmas, and it’s still going strong

I bought this item expecting a professional looking light but it’s dangerously assembled with wires & what looks like cheap silver foil. Awful smell when switched on by plug or batteries-headache ensued. Have had to leave safely away from house in shed as worried how dangerous the fumes are. Reporting to Trading Standards which I’ve never had to do before with Amazon products.

I had to carefully separate the branches and then the light filaments. Once set up it's stunning - I put a few small satin finish baubles on it for Christmas and it made quite an eye catching centrepiece. When putting it away I removed the baubles, but left the branches as they were, storing it in a large box. Very good value for money.

I like the look of it and when I first switched it on I was pleased with it. I am using batteries to power it, but 5 nights in and the lights are getting dimmer. So next step is to see if I have a USB extension to use this type of power source.
