VERY Poor Quality banana plugs
Test leads like these should be very easy to make, but when you cut corners everywhere, the faults add up. My #1 gripe is the weak alloy used for the leaf springs on the banana plugs. Plugging a banana end into the hole in the side of another (made for this purpose) will permanently crush the tip so it will no longer make a decent connection in any other banana jack. e.g. The leaf springs on the banana do not spring back out. The set screw on them also protrudes thru the insulated handle and will make contact with your finger when you touch it, so they are unsuitable for anything other than low voltage applications. The connection at the alligator end is crimped against the insulation and makes very poor contact, so plan on soldering these yourself. The conductor diameter is very small, but this pales in comparison to the other faults. The pain of low quality Chinese junk will haunt you long after the joy of low price has been forgotten.

Light duty, small gauge
I needed banana clips for my power supply. I bought these because every other one said they were for audio equipment. These specifically say for power supplies. What i received were too small of gauge to use on my power supply, or any power supply of significant amperage.

Poorly constructed
Very poorly constructed, wire at alligator clip is crimped not soldered, at Banana plug wire had to be folded over to make proper contact, still a very poor connection. Wire size is also very small and will overheat and melt if any substantial current is passed. these are inexpensive for a reason. Ok for very low current testing but not much more.

difficult to use aligator clips.
Difficult to use. Aligator clips are encased in very slippery insulation shielding with very small finger tabs making it very difficult to open them for anyone with a normal hand size. All else ok.

Bad quality
They are warmed up while I tried to use them

Alligator clip slips around as you squeeze
When using alligator clips you want to be able to squeeze and clip to connect ,this alligator clipsspins around as insulation is slippery makes it harder to connect .

Where there's smoke . . .
Fresh out of the package I used one of these cables between a 12V bench supply and the 12V DC input of a 10.1" monitor. In no time I started smelling plastic and saw the lead wire insulation melt. I pulled the plug quickly and immediately repackaged and sent back.On examination of the failed lead cable I noticed very little wire and mostly insulation.
