Q: Why would you recommend, this set of 4 or the set of 2 with 600 watts ?

I tried running 4 in the amp provided by boss but it didn't have the power needed to dedicate for clear and loud sound. I went back down to two of these and 2 6/9s in my fairing in a separate amp. I would not recommend more then 2, but with just the 2 it was a decent sound I was pleased with it.

Q: Will this work with a Honda Rebel 250?

I see no reason why they won't fit your Honda Rebel.If you put it up on utube to see the fitting instructions, you can decide if you want to go ahead with the fitting.You won't be disappointed with the great sound.
