No, the shelves are not adjustable.

Assembly instructions were not in the box, where can I find instructions online?

There is nothing to assemble or parts to add. just stand it up and pull out the two sides. you can put each wood shelf in place on the brackets already on each side. Hope this is helpful--it is all assembled when you get it--you just have to "open" it up.
