Ants in Your Pants, Worms in Your Plants!: (Gilbert Goes Green): A Springtime Book For Kids

Nice story, great for Earth Day!
Purchased this for our Brownie troop to contribute to the school library. Perfect tie in to giving/donations and to our Earth Day clean-up project and the girls enjoyed it. Story is thoughtful, educational, and touching. Lots of good content and ideas on "going green" (recycling, reusing, composting, etc.) Gilbert must be the same in all the books ... a bit shy and kind of an average kid. But a genuinely nice kid who's working hard! A nice story. A nice message. A really cute ending.

Earth Day Fiction Read Aloud.
Earth day book. Students loved Gilbert and friends and their adventure. They laughed and learned and were able to write using this as inspiration. Author writes high interest, humerous books my students love.

Earth Day
I am so happy to have this down to earth, believable school story to use with my students. Gilbert is already a favorite & I know my students will really tune in to this new tale. Don't wait to order it--Earth Day is just around the corner.Cathy Bonnell

great book
I think this is the best of all the Gilbert books. First graders love these stories. The "going green" topic is so timely.

The children liked this book and the pictures
The children liked this book and the pictures, it didn't hold their interest like I thought it would though. They did think the title was funny.
