Very easy to use with functional grippy knurling on the adjustment head and handle so you can spin freely by hand and adjust the chuck, It's got some weight to it and is nicely sized and looks to be of great build quality. It's a nice bit of kit if you're just after a simple and effecient tap holder, the locking mechanism is nice and the ratcheting function works smoothly. Worked nicely for me to tap a m6x1.0mm threading in some aluminium.

I got this to replace a damaged equivalent from a cheap and cheerful tap and die set. It appears of adequate quality for light work and does the job - but it will never be a family heirloom.

Having used the old bar design, where the tap is held flat with the handles pushing the vice in, this is so, so much better. I used this to tap new threads into a Gearbox housing, and due to its position and orientation, the traditional holder wouldn't do the job, but this did. The ratcheting is especially useful and can be reversed for clearing the thread after the turn. The fact it goes all the way up to M12 means it's pretty much everything I need from a tap holder. Absolutely would recommend.

This arrived before time feels substantially made. And has worked very well so far. Happy with my purchase.

The item was fine though I was unable to use it due to the chuck being too wide given the space limitations. If you have these I would suggest you buy the HaoTrade 8Pcs Hex Shank Tap Socket, Tap Socket Collet Wrench Set, M4-M16 instead. This would have been ideal for my purposes.

Ratchet selector is too easy to hit by accident. Jaws are also a little 'iffy' on larger taps.

a bien tenu pour un taraudage de 12 sur acier épaisseur 20mm ! donc très convenable !
