Bought this file as I am trying to quit the habit of chronic nail biting. Seems I always feel a snag/burr on my nails and then start biting them to get rid of it. Ever since i bought this file I use it to smooth out my nails after trimming them with a cuticle cutter. The result is a smooth even surface that I does not snag on clothes or otherwise irritate me into biting the offending nail. As a result I have better looking nails and no longer bite them. I love the way it works too, super fast and accurate. Cleaning it a breeze, just rinse with water and dry. Love the hard case they came in too. THe best part is it supports the glass industry in my home country, the Czech Republic. The Czech are world renown at cut glass and crystal work. Makes me feel good.

This glass nail file is not only pretty, but works great. Filing your nails takes nearly no time at all. The glass does a great job at smoothing out breaks and sharp edges, but it works so quickly you can file your nails down instead of cutting them with clippers. The hard storage case was an extra wonderful bonus that I didn't realize came with the file! Will definitely buy again!

I love glass fingernail files to finish the edges of my nails after filing. I do find them too thick and bulky to shape my nails though. This is a good quality glass with a nice finish. I find them easy to use, applying more pressure to remove nail and lighter to smooth them. In my opinion these are a good buy.

Just beautiful nail file. No longer have tearing with nail edges. Nice case to keep the file safe. Would recommend this purchase.

This nail file is great for those who appreciate reliable and reusable hygiene products! Having it has encouraged me to do better than occasionally grinding away weird edges with the little metal file on my nail clippers. Actually, it’s been the only nail care tool I’ve used since I got it a month ago, and I’ve been surprised at how easy it’s become to keep my nails looking so neat and evenly shaped. It’s a much gentler experience than what I’m used to! To me, the only drawback a glass file has is its fragility. This one is certainly light (and easily controlled!), but it doesn’t feel too delicate to be used casually. Still, glass is glass, and I can’t help but feel a little disappointed knowing that its protective case will eventually wear down too much to keep itself closed. That’s not a major thing, though, and I’m only mentioning it because I’m really hoping to keep/protect the file indefinitely!

this thing is really freaking good. i didnt think i could have such strong opinions about a nail file. i hated cutting my nails because after using the clipper my nails would catch everywhere. and my stupid chud metal file sucked buttcheeks to use. the clip + file routine would take me soooo long. i had THREE breaks in TWO weeks and then i waas like aight. i need an intervention. .and bought this thing! BUT NOW, with this incredible thing, i filed down my pretty darn long nails into a short niceys length, and the tips are smooth, i no longer accidentally scratch myself bloody because i dont have claws i have POLITELY SMOOTHED NAILS now. there was a cheaper option but i wasnt going to keep this thing in some drawer so i wanted the hard case. its made of glass after all i didnt want it to snap in the bottom of my heavy as hell bookbag. so i thought it would be relatively cheaper to buy the one with the hard carrying case than to have to buy a new one later because my irresponsible ass broke this one. anyways. big recommend.

I purchased several of these nail files years and years ago when you could only get them through the official website and they were not well known (at least in the US). Loved it, it was awesome. Recently, I dropped it and it broke, totally my fault. This was ordered as a replacement and while overall I don't love everything about it as much as the original, it is functionally better. The glass is a little thinner than the one I had before, I don't love the little meal plaque with the brand name, and the case that is provided is not well thought out at all. The very thin file knocks around and isn't safely or securely held by the case - it's a lazy cheap case that just makes the file look better in the Amazon listing, it will break the file if dropped or jarred while in the case, so it it's not a good solution in terms of protection and long term care. But the file itself performs very well, even better than the other glass file I had before. That one was a little more dull. This one is wonderful to use. It's very effective and my nails are much happier and healthier using this file. Love, love, love that. I would say go for this brand of nail file for sure, but if you can find it elsewhere with a different case I would do that. This particular presentation with the case pictured is a gimmick to get you to choose this seller and I just think that's a little gross. Giving 5 stars because you're probably here for the nail file itself which is definitely excellent ;)

I was wary of trying this glass nail file, since I've never found any regular nail file in the past to be satisfactory. The classic metal and sandpaper emery boards, in my experience, are both unpleasant and ineffective. For years I've resigned myself to just using clippers to create rounded nail edges; that takes a lot of work and results are just so-so. This glass file is absolutely super! Not only does it work brilliantly and leave a lovely smooth edge, but also using it is silent. My husband can't stand the sound of filing nails, but he says this one is so quiet he doesn't notice if I use it when sitting right next to him. I would highly recommend it to anyone with medium-strength or hard nails who dislikes the old-style emery/metal files. I won't speculate whether or not it's useful for acrylic nails, as I know nothing about them.

Yo limo mis uñas constantemente y ya había tenido una lima de cristal anteriormente, sin embargo había visto muchas que no tenían el cristal uniforme y no servían para nada. esta es excelente y lima perfectamente las uñas. Se las recomiendo a quienes nunca han probado una lima de cristal porque deja uun acabado perfecto a comparación de las limas comunes, sobre todo para el estilo de uña cuadrada.

The file is good and has not worn down after using it for months. I bought this to replace my more expensive glass file which broke and it has served me well in replacement. The case is great for storage and protects it.
