Awesome fans if you want good looks and performance in ...
Awesome fans if you want good looks and performance in your PC.If you want to keep your system running cool, as well as looking cool, pick some of these up!The ring shows light on either side of the fan, so regardless of mounting, you get to nice glow from either direction. They function off a single 4-Pin PWM fan header, and are able to be ran off a single 2 way splitter down to about 50% fan speed before the LEDs begin to flicker from loss of power (from being split to 2 fans) 3 fans will do this at 70%, did not get a percentage for a single fan, so a powered splitter or fan hub is recommended, or running them off their own headers on the mother board. We have 6 total running in a system of 9 total fans, 3 intakes are running around 80% on a single 3 way, non powered splitter, one as exhaust in the rear around 40%, and two on a cooler master double 120mm tower cooler running a curve based on CPU temp, with the remaining 3 (cougar brand) fans up top around 40%, and everything stays nice and cool even on a i7 6700k at 4.5Ghz with a r9 windforce. Not to mention the amount of fans lets me run the slower and still generating great airflow, which results in quieter performance

We were on a tight budget and saw that 3 white led fans for 14.99 was a steal. Unfortunately we were only half right. While these fans are gorgeous and seem to have pretty good build quality they are quite loud and there isn't really any compromise on that. As a few others have stated.. there is no "middle" ground with these. It's eitherA) Full power Full RPM Bright LED lights orB) Silent mode, low RPM and No LED lights at allTrying to configure these fans for that happy middle ground is just not possible. I don't come to this conclusion lightly. After spending a few days in the Gigabyte Bios fan profile configurator trying to create a curve that works. No dice. So I then said, fine... lets go with a manual Molex / 3 pin fan controller. 3 different controllers I have and not one could do a thing with these fans. Manual worked better than the motherboard controller by far.But when you use a manual controller to turn down the noise the light goes with it. So at the point where the fans were a little (and i do mean little) quieter you end up with the LED's so dim or off it ends up not being worth it.So there you have it, I'm torn on these as they were so close. Maybe the 4pin versions which are a few bucks more work better. But as it stands, as beautiful as these are I just can't recommend them. upHere really was on to something. Let's hope the next version is significantly better.

Looks exactly like the picture and works very well
Generally I like it. Very easy to set up, 3 pin fan connector, pretty straightforward. I'm going to swap these out only because the additional products I purchased an active rainbow effect that I want to stick to now. but they are really quiet and nice.

Silent, Colorful, Sturdy, 3 pin, not RGB, friendly price.
For anyone wondering, these are not RGB fans. They're LED. As the title says, they are 120mm LED case fans. 3-pin so no PWM control, with a persistent multi-colored LED effect. They do not CHANGE color. They display a constant rainbow. They ARE quiet, but aren't RGB, so aren't compatible with Aura Sync or Hue+ color customization of that natue. For that, the Thermaltake Riing 12 Plus is probably the closest thing to affordable with a similar design. If you're NOT looking for RGB, but want a similar effect, there's a 7-second YouTube video of the exact fan in operation for you to see. As per Amazon guidelines, I'm not allowed to post the link here, but the title is "Uphere RGB fan". The effect is immediately noticeable. The user seems to have been under the impression that this fan was RGB compatible. This review will hopefully settle that confusion. NOT RGB.That having been said, they're 12 bucks for two. For 12 bucks they're good fans. Are they exotic deals with rarely low prices and all the fancy bells and whistles as fans three times the price?... No... They're sturdy, quiet, and inexpensive. A simple product with a rather entertaining attempt at high-dollar market appeal.Revolutionary? Nope. But they don't need to be. They're 12 bucks.Returning to this review after some time with the product, and a very impressive response and attention from the seller, I'm raising my score. For the price and service, if RGB isn't a deal breaker for you, this deal is quite the find.

You get what you pay for I guess
Pros:*Low cost - $5 for a lit fan*DIY rubber feet - The rubber anti-rattle tabs around the screws do not come pre-installed and must be stuck on yourself, I consider this a plus as it means you won't get a poorly stuck rubber grip from the factoryLooks good when fully litCons:*Not remotely silent - These fans at any high RPM get fairly loud; now I know what you're thinking: "So turn the speed down". Well... that's not possible due to my next point.*LEDs dim or fully turn off at low speeds- The fan's LED's simply turn off below 60% or so fan speed. And they are extremely dim anywhere below 85% or so. On the built I used these I found that I had to pin my case fan speeds at around 70% minimum to get the LEDs to be at a half-decent brightness without being loud.----In conclusion: you get what you pay for. If you have a case with really good noise isolation and want a bit of color in a budget build these will probably work fine. But, if you're not scraping by on cash for your build I'd suggest buying your fans elsewhere.

Great fans and if you cant get lights then read this
FOR THOSE THAT CANT GET THE LEDS TO WORK: go into bios settings and turn EACH INDIVIDUAL FAN TO PMW i cant stress that enough, you cant "apply all" you have to do EACH ONE and that should work, it worked on my Gigabyte board and my friends ASUS and MSI board too.so the brightness is alright, not the most consistent nor the brightest but.. they are 15 bucks guys..you get what you pay for and considering they offered to send me a new set because i initially couldn't get the LED's to work and told me to keep the other ones as backup fans is good customer service.i figured it out (above) and i called them back to tell them to not send them but they insisted to so now i have six of them, i gave them to my friend who just bought some more.they are not the quietest BUT they are not loud at all.. unless you ramp the speed past 1200RPM, then it becomes slightly noticeable if you are sitting in the room silently, good cooling, decent noise level and good look.

Nice
Pretty happy with these. I dont want the light dimming at low fan speed so I connect these directly to the psu. Nice ambient glow and look great. I'd say they're 25 -50% quieter then most fans at full speed, so I'm sure these are super quiet at idle. They're bright enough that they're my only source of light in my pc using 5 of them and look great

Love PWM
I'm very pleased with these fans. I purchase the red PWM variaty with the red ring, which has a nice consistent glow around the entire ring. I was afraid there would only be a few visible LEDs, but the glowing ring looks amazing.I also really love the 4 pin PWM feature. When properly installed you can tell at a glance if the CPU is cool or hot, because the LEDs glow brightly when the PWM is on high or very faintly when the fans are barely spinning.Make sure to check that your motherboard has enough 4 pin PWM fan headers. This product doesn't include MOLEX or daisy chain adapters, so you'll need a header for each fan you plan to install. The package included rubber mounting stickers, to help reduce fan vibration. The fans are still not exactly silent when all spinning at full speed. I didn't take a measurement, but I would guess at least 30db of fan noise. While thats a little disappointing, PWM means when the fans aren't needed they'll barely be spinning and be much quieter.

Excellent fans for the money
A bit on the noisy side, when they are pushed to their max speeds. However I have 6 of these installed on my tower and only need to run them at about 50% of their max. This offers excellent cooling and very reasonable sound levels.I have only been using them for a couple of months, so I can not speed to reliability. BUT I had really high end name brand fans in the tower, prior to the upHere fans. Those needed to be replaced after only 2 years of use. SO if I get one to two years out of the upHere fans, they will more then pay for themselves. Since the upHere fans are a third of the price of the name brand fans I was using before.

Looks good - not "silent"
Pretty bright. Not too bright, which I personally think is a good thing. No more difficult to install than any other fan. They did have little foam tabs that needed to be attached to the fans which added some extra work, but it was still technically easy. Noise level is where these "silent" fans fall short. My computer no longer sounds like it's about to fly away, but they still make sufficient noise, primarily in the amount of air they are pushing. My case is pretty open compared to most so you hear just about everything going on. I find the noise level to be fine, but they definitely are not "silent" as advertised, which is why I scored them lower there. If they didn't claim to be silent, I would have rated their noise level better.

Fan works/LED light kinda works
LED white ring does not light up using the 3 pin fan connector, it DOES light up when using the 4 pin molex connector. Very inconvenient because I don't want to use the molex connectors.EDIT:Fan LEDs do work. Molex supplies full power it needs to run the fans at 100% and power the LEDs. If you use the pwm fan connector, that changes the amount of power the fans get to change the speed of the fan. And if the power the fan gets is lower to slow down fan speed, it will also result in LEDs turning off if the amount of power isn't sufficient enough to keep them on.

Great fans!
I bought 2 fans, received 3. The red part in the middle, doesn't exist. Black on both sides. Very vibrant and bright color. Molex or 3 pin connector. Pushes a lot of air and when the case is sealed, it's almost inaudible. Amazing product.

LEDs off at sub-50% speeds
Motor is noisy at low speeds, fan vibrates at high speeds. Wind noise is typical for the blade type; quiet when slow, noisy when fast. Keep in mind that wind noise is partially case dependent also. The leds are off under 50% fan speed (basically all the time). Better off finding a cheaper set of non led fans and installing an led strip.Comes with stick on rubber damping feet you install yourself, and they're probably to stiff to reduce any significant vibrations. Still, a welcome inclusion.Overall, cheap fan at a cheap price, disappointing led function, and noisy motors at low speed.
