Pretty happy with this purchase. I’ve been on the hunt for thin beach towels because carrying multiple, bulky, you-can-never-fit-them-all-in-one-bag beach towels is one of my greatest pet peeves.I’ve used it probably half a dozen times since purchasing. All for use at the pool, both at home and on vacation. It’s thicker than I expected it to be, but that’s not a bad thing. The material feels nice and thick and of quality; not bulky. It’s still crazy thin and light. I’ve used it both to cover up and to wrap around me when I’m out of the water. I can’t speak to absorbency because I haven’t paid attention to that aspect. But as a pool/beach towel, I’d highly recommend it to those looking. Keeps you warm in the shade when you’re dripping wet. Oh, and it is big! Plenty long and wide enough to wrap around you and then some. I want to buy several more to keep in our linen closet as our go-to pool towels. And maybe even hang a few up in our guest bathroom for visitors.

As many reviewers have pointed out, these towel are “thin and scratchy” but I honestly find that to be their biggest selling point. Traditional terry cloth towels can be slow to absorb, leave lint on the skin, and take forever to dry. I personally love the “scrubby” feeling I get drying my skin with these towel, like a mini exfoliating massage. It leaves me feeling cleaner and fresher than drying off with a terry cloth towel. They also dry quickly. They are a large bath sheet size. If you’re someone who generally finds normal bath towels gap or don’t wrap all the way around you, you’ll be pleased by how large these are, more like a beach towel. But because of how thing they are, they take up less space than a normal bath towel in my linen closet. The wash instructions say gentle cycle, but I’ve been washing these for years on normal in hot water with an oxygen bleach and they’re no worse for the wear.

I bought these in hopes they were similar to some I have seen. These towels were less expensive than others. Thought I’d give them a try. Nice size. Light weight. Household purpose was a quick lightweight towel to dry off and wrap with after showering. After receiving, I washed them. They were fibrous and the fibers stuck all over my body. They were not great at drying off with until they had been washed several times. They softened up considerably after washing several times too. Perk? They are stylish and versatile enough to be used as light shawls for cool evenings.

These are gorgeous and can double as a lightweight summer throw on the sofa when the A/C is in high gear. However, they aren't Turkish, they say made in India, hence the missing star.

I washed them when they arrived hung them out side to dry. Frist time I used one it wasn't as soft as I thought but they told me they would soften with use very happy

It see,s to be well-made but it is not soft. I would never use it as a towel. It about the weight and weave of non-terry dish towel. I washed it according to instructions and it did not come out any softer and it is very wrinkled so not nice enough to use as a throw which was why I made the purchase. Disappointing. I would not purchase this item.

I have used these exact towels for years, I have probably owned 3 sets of 4. They are beautiful and I love the texture and color. They get more absorbent as you wash and use them and dry easily. However the fringes come apart and fray after about 6 months of use which is so disappointing. For as expensive as they are, I would expect them to last at least twice that long. I will probably purchase without fringes next time, because they look terrible once they start coming apart.

[Update]I got my first of these towels as for Vine review but I did buy several more. My glowing review applies only to the smaller yellow towel and the pink and blue with "Beach" in the color name. THOSE are sturdier and better than the other, thinner colors. Very disappointed that they are all different.=============When I first opened the package, I thought "this can't possibly replace a regular bath towel." But what it lacks in thickness it makes up for in absorbency.My biggest complaint about so-called thirsty towels is that they just push the water around, leaving you colder and wetter. This one sucked up the water very quickly, and dried quickly.The tassels on the end make it look more like a decorative throw, but that's a minor point. Going to order a few more to see how much room I can save it my linen closet! They are so thin I think I can gain back a lot of shelf space!

El diseño está padrísimo. Hasta lo puedes usar como tipo chal. Es delgado, por lo que se seca rápido. No la he usado en la playa, pero seguro va bien, no tiene la misma textura que las toallas convencionales. Es lo suficientemente larga y ancha para el cuerpo. Vale la pena.

La estoy devolviendo porque pedí una talla XL y recibí S...no es lo que yo pedí pero la calidad me parece excelente...

No como se anuncia. Esta es una toalla de cocina, no una toalla de playa.

hace como 4 años que hice el cambio a Peshtamales en ves de toallas y a mi marido y a mi nos encanta, nos cuida mucho la piel, y se secan rapidament por lo que no gastan tanta energia como las toallas normales que ocupan mucho tiempo de secado. Exclente producto super recomendado.
