Bag is well crafted, has durable straps, and is of high quality. The bag is bigger than I anticipated but this is a pleasant surprise. Numerous well sized pockets on the outside as well as several inside partitions. Leather care instructions included. The leather is beautiful and has a rich rugged color. Very attractive, functional, and enjoyable. Enough room exists in this bag to carry anything one would want to carry in such a bag with plenty of room to spare. Excellent bag at an outstanding price. Packaged with care by seller for safe delivery. A wonderful item I am pleased to have purchased.

Very satisfied with this leather shoulder bag and have used if for some time now. I'm a chaplain to international seafarers. I meet them when they arrive in port. I travel ship to ship by pickup truck, so it gets tossed around a bit. I pack it full of literature, books, compact Bibles, pens, notebooks, and other small items for the people I meet. It's tough enough to handle the deck and mess room, yet professional enough to be in the presence of the captain, agents, and Homeland Security officers. The bag represents me well in both places. And I wouldn't hesitate to take it on the airline as my carry on. PS...turn the shoulder snap to the outside of the ring...keeps it from catching on the flap...see photo. If that's the only problem, this is a good deal ;-)

I just got the bag, and it is exactly what I was looking for. Like others have said, it does have a distinct chemical smell, but I'm sure it will fade within a few days. You can tell that the craftsmanship is top notch with this product. The leather is brand new so it is still stiff, but it will hopefully soften a bit over time. Update: 4/4/2022 The smell went away within a couple weeks of use. It is still going strong and looks amazing. I put entirely too much into this bag but nothing has broken or frayed yet. The leather did soften up a bit.

I was truly excited to receive this and amused by the plastic wrapping on each buckle (minus one but no issues with scratches. However when I went to test the buckle of the first of two front pockets I noticed the holes punched into the leather were not centered or aligned at all. I then proceeded to fight with a simple buckle loop because the buckle wanted the strap center, but the hole was no where near centered, so I gave up. Both front pockets had this issue as did one of the side pockets (see picture). Fortunately there were no issues with the main buckle but losing the functionality of 3/4 extra pockets is a pretty big bummer. A bit of chalk (or other marking instrument) to keep the hole punch centered and aligned would have avoided the sloppy mess this turned out to be. Fortunately I will primarily be using the main bag for laptops and other larger items, so I only took off one star for this. To any other potential buyer who would prefer a hassle free use of all pockets…maybe you’ll have better experience than I did. Will update post if any other issues arise during use, but over all I’m happy with the thickness and sturdiness of the product. It smells like leather but isn’t at all that strong. Quality really is it’s only hang up so far.

After about 6 months of wear and tear this bag feels better than when it first arrived. I've been pretty rough on it and it's held up well. The color, stitching, buckles, and zippers continue to hold and it fits a lot of stuff. My laptop, books, pens, and notepads all fit. It's been wet, left in the heat, and left in the cold and it still looks and feels good. From my perspective and experience - it's worth the price. UPDATE: After two years the strap on the bag broke at the clasp. At the 1-year mark one clasp came free and I was able to fix it with a pair of pliers. However, at the 2-year mark the other clasp broke completely. Disappointed with the craftsmanship on that aspect of the bag since the rest of it has held up really well.

This is a very attractive bag. I wish the straps on the pockets all had the button slide closures like the center strap. Also it took me almost an hour using tweezers and little scissors to get all of the plastic unwrapped and pulled off of and out from under all of the buckles, as it was sewn through when they sewed the straps on the bag. That was ridiculous! I hope that was just a mistake on the bag I purchased, I can’t imagine that is their common practice. I didn’t know if I would ever get all of it out of the stitching, and caused some scratches on the leather. It was extremely stiff and smelled strongly. I did work the leather by bending and rubbing and set it out on my porch on a humid day and it aired out and softened up. I bought it as a gift for my husband as his last bag is worn out. I don’t think this bag will last nearly as long as his last one did. The leather is thinner and I don’t think the carrying strap and handle will hold up. To be fair other than the mess with the plastic it is decent for the price.

I gave this leather messenger bag to my son (who is a school teacher) as a gift. He loves it! The quality leather and sturdiness of workmanship means he will be able to use it for years to come.

I was really excited to get this bag. When I received it I was impressed by the look and smell. As far as quality made bag. They are made very cheap in my opinion. I have had this bag for 2 weeks and the leather is already tearing in spots that hardly get touched. The clasp for the front has has lost a screw and the others have to be tightened every other day or they will fall out. I emailed the company twice because they told me to contact them first if I had any Issues. Well I did and they sent me a link to to return my bag to Amazon. I can do that myself. I would have even take a solution on how to fix it or repair it but they didn’t care to discuss it. I am returning the bag and going with another brand.

I liked the bag — mostly. It is like I always dreamt of having. Good leather, fairly good finished product, but some things could be better. The metal clasp that closes the lid-flap is fragile and I fear may not hold the weight or after some use may not click shut when bag is fully laden with things it is meant to hold. I may use the bag more sparingly than I had thought — because I still like it’s looks!

Bought for my partner who is a teacher. Lots of space and storage pockets/areas. Looks great. He gets lots of lovely comments from colleagues. Great value!
