Love this heater!!
We needed something to heat our insulated two car garage and this was a perfect solution. It was very easy to install and has been working great. It seems to be very well made and I like that it is made in the USA by a great company that has been making heaters for many, many years. I am very impressed with everything about it.Our garage is about 564 sq ft and it has no problem maintaining the temperature without having to run very long to do so.I used a Honeywell T410A1013 wall thermostat to control this and removed the built-in thermostat. I ordered the grill plug directly from Cadet to cover the hole and the whole installation looks great. It runs fairly quiet; you can hear the fan blowing the air, but it's not loud by any means.Overall, I am very happy with this unit and expect that we'll get many, many years of use from it. I also like that Cadet has all the parts available for these, should anything need to be repaired or replaced.

Powerful heat in a small frame
Installation was a snap. The heat is immediate forceful and covers a large basement. It improved the temperature from 66° to 70° in less than 15 minutes with the thermostat set halfway. So far so good.

Beats well
Put this in a laundry room to replace another, great size, looks great, easy to install and use, thermostat controlled, built to last. Functional.

Good for individual rooms
This is a good little heater, that heats a room well and fast. However I would only recommend this for closed off rooms that will be able to retain the heat. The thermostat on it is not very clear, so you definitively want get a separate one installed too. With that said, here's something to consider. It can be very expensive to run, specially if you live in a really cold climate, and have connecting rooms like me. This is why I will only recommend it for closed rooms. I had this one and 2 smaller ones installed in my house as a temporary fix to a heating issue in my house, but it's costing me an arm and a leg. This is is obviously an individual problem and not the product's problem, but keep it in mind in case you have the same idea as me. This heater will be best if used on mild climate where it can get cold but it's not cold for extended periods of time. Or if you have room that you don't use often and just need it quick heat on demand.Oh also; this bigger Cadet heater is significantly louder than the single/smaller Cadet heaters.

Easy install and works great.
This was an easy install. It is designed to fit between 16” on center studs. I just cut out the drywall and ran the wire. Luckily I had 240 volts existing in the wall. You connect the ground to a provided screw in the metal box and the two hots to the wires on the back. You will need two wire nuts and a romex clamp. This heater is 20 amps at 240 volts, so use at least #12 wire. The built in thermostat works well. This heater gives almost as much heat as three of those portable space heaters. The fans aren’t noisy. Very nice.

Fantastic heater. updated
This is my main heat in an RV (35 ft 5th wheel with 2 popouts). The unit is small, unobtrusive and works very well. Makes less noise than a table fan. Matter of fact, running the water in the kitchen sink is almost noisier. Didn't like the knob thermostat since it is not very accurate. I connected this to a remote thermostat using a relay as an interface. Could not be happier. Very comfortable and heats quicklyOne year later. Removing heater. It cuts out after 5 to 7 minutes. It resets about 5 min later. Runs in spurts. Does not wait for thermostat to cut it off.

Works well
Works well but you really need to reconfigure the button to a better system that is more user friendly and convenient.
