The sticky is REALLY sticky if you can get it to stay. We had one on our toilet that fell off after about 2 weeks of use. Maybe because of the steam from the shower? Surely the developers know that there will be steam in a bathroom...If it does happen to stick it’s nearly impossible to get off.The plastic band part could be a little longer for toilets and cabinets that don’t have a mate. I have 2 cabinets that I can’t baby proof because they’re either on the edge of my island or right next to my oven. Sigh. I tried to do it from underneath but the band was too short and it wouldn’t stick.The clip part with the buttons is genius. I did use it on a toy box that I keep my boy’s toys with pieces in and he can’t open it and strow them all over the house without supervision.I’m only giving 3 stars because it fell off the toilet and I had to make a dent in my toilet lid getting the clip square off.

I’ve already recommended these to all my friends. They are a bit more pricey than the generic ones you see on big box store shelves but they work a million times better. I have them on glass cabinets, toilets, oven and dishwasher and they are a lifesaver and a sanity saver! So sticky my 2 year old has put all her weight into pulling down and hanging on the oven door and it doesn’t budge. We’ve had them on for 6 months or more. Just follow the instructions and you should have the same results I did. So simple. Hope this helps.

I purchased these because my elderly mother was getting into the cabinets and the refrigerator at night. If the person has a dexterity problem these might be hard for them to use but in my case that's what I was looking for. The adhesive is very strong and I imagine that these will last for a very long time. Also great for earthquake safety. These latches will definitely keep stuff in the cabinet during some good shaking.

We purchased the 2-pack of these first, just to try them out. Obviously they work well because here I am leaving a review on the big pack. Our ten month old is walking and climbing and pulling open any drawer, door, or flap that will give in to persistence. Thank goodness for these little guys. No home is ever 100% child proof but we've been able to secure a lot of no-no areas just with these alone. I hate to hear her cry but might have felt a twinge of glee that her tears were due to no longer being successful at opening drawers full of dangerous-for-baby items.

Bought to stop a dog from getting into cupboards who can get into pretty much anything for food. We had tried so many other childproofing and bungee cords and everything else that he would break or chew through. These worked and were simply to latch and unlatch as needed. Make sure to let them sit for a few hours after installing to let the adhesive set orthwy will just pop off, otherwise were sturdy.

Easy to install. They work! Pretty easy to unlatch (for adults) once you get the hang of it. Have not tried to remove any yet. A bit of an eyesore on nice cabinets, but that’s babyproofing for ya....

Rock solid! I use them on cupboards, toilets, and anything else I don't want my toddler to get in. She has pulled her whole body weight against them and hasn't been able to remove them. By far the best baby locks I've ever used.

I have been struggling to find something that actually works on the cabinets and doesn’t just fall off. Super easy to stick on and use. I’ve been using hair ties for months but these just solved my problems with my 15 month old daughter!!!
