Perfect for a single person
What a great buy this was. Reasonable price, arrived quickly and works great. This rice cooker cooks 2 portions of rice, but is also perfect for 1. Just rinse rice, add water and press "rice". Takes about 30 minutes with a 6 minute countdown at the end, but will automatically keep warm for a few hours. (Tip: rinse rice well, measure the water, and you will get perfect rice every time),It is small, compact, fits into a cupboard or on a storage shelf. The pull out bowl washes easily in soapy water, just wipe down the lid.

Perfect for two!
We already own a rice cooker but it is too big for just the two of us. This one is perfect, one cup of rice (using the cup provided) and two cups of water, close the lid and press the button. Couldn’t be easier, perfect rice every time, no smell and easy to clean.

Perfect rice and porridge cooker for 1 to 2 people
I've been using rice cookers for about five years but this one is the best I've used by far.I love porridge and with this unit because it's small the minimum portion size is perfect for one person. That is a problem with most larger units- there is usually a minimum portion size which would equate to 2 or three times what I need.Having the delay function so that you can put the milk and porridge oats in the night before is perfect for early morning starts. Saves so much time and hassle and then just one easy to wash up small pan.Tip- I've found that Although it says it takes an hour, with 1 cup of porridge and 2 cups of milk/water around 35 to 40 minutes is a great consistency- I usually add in a banana chopped up 10 minutes before the end which cooks the banana enough. Porridge is cooked to a time whereas the rice is cooked until the water is evaporated and the rice reaches a certain temperature. So you might want to experiment with your porridge to get it exactly how you want it.I've tried multiple different types of rice all of which have been cooked perfectly. My favourite so far has been Japanese sticky rice and brown long grain rice. With brown varieties of rice you need to do 2 cups of water to 1 cup of rice. White rice is one-to-one.This is such a useful, time-saving and most importantly provides consistently good results that I would struggle to recreate with the pan on the hob. Also because the unit is quite small it doesn't take up much space on the work surface.Definitely my favourite kitchen gadget now and not one that you will just use once like a lot of things that end up in the back of the cupboard.

Great little rice cooker
Enough for 2 average portions of rice, cooks it perfectly and so convenient that you can pop it on and leave it and it stays warm once cooked. It did leak a little from the steam vent at the top, so I had a wet bench but it was easy enough to wipe up.The bowl and spatula are very easy to clean up too. Pleased with my purchase

I love this dinky rice cooker
I LOVE this little rice cooker, it does the job so well. I have not been making rice for long as I found most rice cookers it’s hard to make enough for one person but this one is ideal for that! I use bone broth to cook my rice instead of water for extra flavour and it did very well. The rice cooks well and thoroughly but it’s good to give it a little mix as the sides can brown a little. It will beep when the rice is done and you can choose to keep it on a warming setting for a bit. It also has a book which tells you how much fluid to put with the rice for perfect cooking and i just followed that. I also added in some peas and sweetcorn to the last batch for the last ten mins and that worked well too. Also very simple to clean and it’s so small it fits nicely in a cupboard out of the way when not in use!

No fuss, no burning, no sticky deposit. This is a champion.
This is the best rice cooker I've used - and I've had quite a few. This is so easy to use and produces perfectly cooked rice with no sticking or crusting on the bottom of the cooking pot - even after being left on the automatic keep warm setting for an hour or more. Cleaning takes no effort at all and can be done in seconds. I've had more expensive rice cookers with whistles and bells I didn't use or need. If you want a no fuss model which will give you a great result in about 20 minutes, look no further.

Extremely Good
I really cannot give this rice/pooridge cooker less than the five stars as in line with my other Lake Land products it represents excellent value for money and does what they claim. The rice (including Brown) is always cooked very well and avoids the wet and soggy feel for something closer to resturant rice. The pooridge is also very well cooked and can be left over night with delay and that is no problem. So here are a couple of things that I have come across that are not game changers but worth bearing in mind. Firstly, if you go full milk pooridge you can expect some leaks through the vent, water pooridge or half and half milk and water will avoid this. Secondly, the rubber bung in the lid pulls of and you can pull out the metal steam diffuser to clean both the back and the front and this is vital to do. I cannot give this less than the 5 stars because for the money the build quality and function are above excellent.
