Aquacrest is Worth it!
The Aquacrest garden hose filter is working out very well. Water pressure is fine. The hook up to the hose is working w/ no leaking. The plants are responding well as I prefer natural gardening methods water purity is critical. And the price was more than worth it. It will last 3 mos. I give it a thumbs up.

Not as sturdy as I needed.
Update- I was contacted by seller and they sent me a new filter and hose. I had already replaced the hose piece with one from a different company but I appreciate the good customer support and follow up.The filter itself is great. The short hose that allows it to connect to the faucet is not sturdy enough. It came apart after a week or so I have tried to put it back together but the pieces just pull apart.

Necessary for garden on city water
Works great for plants if you're on city water. Huge difference in growth since we started using it.

Made things worse.
This filter made my water go from bad to worse. After I installed it and followed the manufacturers instructions for the break in period I tested the water and my particle tester was reading over 600. The water normally reads around 400... thats a 50% INCREASE in particulats. I didnt test to see what they were but they must have been the insides if the filter. I let the filter run for another 20 minutes and tested it again and it was still at 600. When i took it off and tested the water it was back down to 400. I may have got a messed up filter or it may just be a messed up company but im not gonna waste my time or money trying to figure it out.
