NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP HD Finishing Powder, Pressed Setting Powder - Mint Green

This is my go to setting powder. I pair it with tinted hyaluronic acid serum rather than using base. It is much more youthful for my skin.

I've tried several setting and finishing powders over the years (ranging from drug store brands to professional brands), but this is the only one that's legitimately blown my mind. Takes away shine, gives my skin the smoothest look and feel, sets my foundation and makes it last at least twice as long, even holds up throughout a hot, sweaty day at a summer festival here in south Florida. It applies like silk and evens out my skin without making me look yellow or like I'm wearing too much makeup, which I feared. Seriously, I don't know where this product has been all my life but I'm incredibly grateful I've found it now. Key Highlights: • Pairs perfectly with my foundation (I use Inglot HD) • Blends very well • Hides imperfections • Long lasting • Works great with brush or beauty blender • Paraben-free • Doesn't test on animals 🐰 Only downside is it came to me just a tad bit broken... And by "a tad bit broken," I mean "completely crumbled." So, it has resulted in quite a messy makeup bag. The first time I ordered this, I ordered it from an actual makeup website (Camera Ready Cosmetics). I decided to order from Amazon this time since it was a bit cheaper and more convenient to add to my existing order. However, next time I think I will spend the extra few dollars (+ shipping) to order from CRC to ensure it comes to me in one piece :)

Good basic translucent powder gets the job done

I'm sure, if you had the money to spend, that you'd probably enjoy some sort of super expensive, high quality name-brand loose powder more, but as far as drug store makeup goes, it's really lightweight, easily blended, and gets the job done. I use the flat side of a beauty blender, rub it into the makeup, and then dab it on my face, and I get a nice little air-brushed finish. My only complaint, like many others, is that it came broken on the bottom; however, most of the product was still intact, so I just chose to pick my battles and get over it. If you know where to find this exact product in stores near you, I'd highly recommend going there and buying it, instead of ordering it on Amazon and having it come broken for the same price as in stores.

Hi I bought this product on semi accident. I’m still new to the world of make up; as a guy with no sisters to help me out. I was looking for a translucent powder and stumbled on this product an purchased immediately. I’ve been using sunscreen religiously for the past 3 weeks and have been seeing great results. However the only thing that bothers me about it, is it’s intense shine after multiple applications through the day. I bought this product to help dumb down the shine and it’s done wonders for me. I apply it by using one of the widest brushes I could find with a dome looking end. I applied it to my face after a few minutes of letting the sunscreen rest onto my skin. Instantly seeing results. I work 10 hours days at a warehouse lifting heavy items so sweat and oil naturally emerges from my skin. I feel like this product continues to keep your skin matte and dry through out the day. I will also add that wearing sunscreen makes my eyes water and burn at the near end of my shift. -again bc of being physically active at my job. This product manages to keep its word by keeping what ever product you wear, where you leave it after applying this finishing powder. I will leave another update review after about a month or so of wearing this product. Long over due update!: Ok so basically it’s still holding up to my last review. It’s isn’t notable to my male co workers. I did have a few women at my work place ask if I was using anything. I did fess up and they were very helpful with some questions I had about it. -As long as you don’t over due the powder you’ll be fine. Haha

The green powder doesn’t do much to help with redness even though I’m layering it with other makeup products :/

Excelente producto; súper recomendado

Questa cipria NYX mi ha stupita in positivo. È leggerissima, quasi impalpabile, e una volta applicata lascia la pelle più liscia e uniforme senza creare quell’effetto polveroso che si vede con molti prodotti simili. Fissa bene il trucco e tiene sotto controllo la lucidità per diverse ore, anche nella zona T. Mi piace usarla soprattutto per “rifinire” il make-up quando voglio un risultato pulito e naturale. Non evidenzia le texture e non sbianca nelle foto. Per il prezzo, secondo me è un’ottima scoperta.

Das HD Finishing Powder von NYX ist zu einem festen Bestandteil meiner Routine geworden. Es mattiert sofort, ohne die Haut trocken aussehen zu lassen, und verfeinert das Hautbild sichtbar. Besonders toll finde ich, dass es die Poren weichzeichnet und das Make-up den ganzen Tag fixiert, ohne zu cakey zu wirken. Es lässt sich leicht auftragen, ist ergiebig und hinterlässt ein super natürliches Finish. Für den Preis wirklich unschlagbar – absolute Empfehlung!
