I love the fact that for the price of 14oz (2 small bottles) I got 32 ounces. We bake a lot of bread, rolls and having this much yeast saves us on time, gas and money ! I love making yeast rolls and the flavor is fantastic with this yeast.

TL;DR: This yeast works great, rises fast, has a great price for the amount you receive.For others:I have tons of food allergies which stops me from buying most store bought food, packaged food, and restaurants. We bake all of our own bread, cakes, and anything else. When ever we use yeast for baking, we use this kind. The yeast rises quickly with our local clover honey and the right temperature warm water. It typically doubles in 5-10 minutes, often spilling if we don't watch it carefully. The taste can be strong, but we found by using about 1/4 less than any particular recipe asks for and instead giving it more time to rise, we reduce the yeasty flavor. The last good thing about this product is that you get a lot of yeast for the price - those $7 jars at the supermarket equal about a sixteenth amount of this package for a fraction of the cost. This is the cheapest I have found yeast for in my area, including warehouse stores and discount grocers.

This yeast is the only one I use, because I can trust it to rise without fail. I get the best compliments on my homemade yeast bread and rolls.

Once before I ordered yeast online and it was not fresh. This has worked great. I use a bread machine, but not every day, and my old yeast had gotten inadequate. I keep it in the freezer, and only put enough in the refrigerator freezer for current use, while the rest is well-sealed in the deep freeze until it's time to replenish.

Perfect 1 lb pkgs. I want to make my own breads this winter again.
