Aidelife Rotary hammer dust collection attachment,Universal Dust shroud for drilling

Given the price vs the other big manufacturers, I was not expecting much other than it'll get me through some concrete jobs for the time being. Turns out it's actually really nice. There's a rubber fitting for the hose connection rather than just plastic on plastic. It's bigger and heavier than I thought it would be (a good thing IMHO, it's built well). Clings to concrete block walls with no issues, even with a lower CFM HEPA vacuum.

This dust collector attachment is working great at keeping concrete and drywall dust under control when drilling to install wall anchors. I was surprised to find that it would even stay stuck on a wall when using my 20V cordless DeWalt two-gallon vacuum, which doesn't really produce that much suction. The dust attachment body is made from a sturdy plastic with a foam rubber gasket that surrounds the entire body and compresses snugly against the wall for a positive seal. The vacuum hose connection on the adapter both of the standard 1-1/4 and 2-inch hoses that my shop vacuums use.

This was the cheapest version of this I could find on Amazon. It worked well is not flimsy I'm happy with the purchase

Worked great, contained 99% of the dust making it well worth it

The product did keep any brick dust and mess from kicking out when drilling. But it was impossible to tell how deep you had drilled without stopping and taking the attachment off the wall making the process much slower. The drilling attachment also created large witness marks on the wall which were left behind brick dust that I found impossible to remove without scrubbing which was not ideal. The build was good and it attached to the vacuum and wall perfectly, it's just impractical for use when you need to know how deep you have drilled, such as when you are using wall plugs. In generally it was tidier and easier not to use the attachment and just hold the vaccume to the wall

Very good product. It should be noted that this drilling dust-extraction attachment is optimized for drilling diameters from 5/8 in to 1-3/8 in and not 3/8 in to 1-3/8 in as stated in the product description.

Très semblable au Bosch mais moins cher. Fonctionne très bien avec ma Shopvac et avec l’adaptateur aussi bien avec ma Festool ct15
