I love it!
I’ve been using this soy wax for my candles, and I absolutely love it! Right from the start, I noticed how clean and smooth it burns — way less soot compared to traditional paraffin wax, which keeps my candles looking great longer. The texture is soft and easy to work with when melting and pouring, which makes candle making so much more enjoyable. One of the things I appreciate most is how well it holds fragrance. Even with lighter scents, the scent throw is impressive — my whole room fills with a lovely, even aroma without anything feeling overpowering. And because it’s natural and plant-based, I feel good about using it around the house. The finish on the candles looks beautiful too — clean, creamy, and professional. Whether I’m making gifts or just enjoying them myself, these candles feel and look high quality. Overall, this soy wax has made candle making easier, cleaner, and more satisfying. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great base for homemade candles!

Best !!
This soy wax is excellent quality and very easy to work with. It melts smoothly, pours well, and sets evenly with a clean, professional finish. It holds fragrance beautifully and provides a strong scent throw once the candle is cured. I also appreciate that it burns clean and is truly natural. Great for both beginners and experienced candle makers. I will definitely keep purchasing this wax and highly recommend it.

Great kit for candle making!
I decided to make candles for Christmas gifts this year. As a non-crafty person in a family of very crafty people, this was a perfect kit for me! It contained almost everything I needed to start my new hobby. The only disappointing things were the essential oils that came with the kit. They don’t smell good. I purchased higher quality, better oils from somewhere else. I also purchased additional soy wax and some small mason jars. But I didn’t need to buy those to begin making candles. This kit includes wax, oils, wicks, stickers, colors, stirring sticks, a thermometer, small containers, and the melting pot. The only thing you will need that isn’t included is a kitchen scale. I am proud of the way my candles turned out and I’m excited to give them as gifts.

Great wax. Must research how to use it
The wax seems great. Good price for 10 pounds of wax, stickers and wicks. So I asked questions here about how to work with this candle wax and read product reviews. looked for an Etienne Alair candle making website (there isn't one). So it's us and Google ... here's what I have to contribute: Evidently soy wax can hold maximum 6% to 10% fragrance load but this wax doesn't say its maximum. I tried with 6% and 8% load so far. (That means 6 or 8 % of the total weight is fragrance weight) There are calculators online to tell you how many ounces or grams of wax make a candle of any given volume... seriously this is like chemistry class all over again!! The wax melts at 170 degrees and the internet says you add the fragrance oil at 185 degrees (stirring gently in back-and-forth motions, not in circles so you don't create bubbles). Use some kind of thermometer. You'll be shocked to see how fast the temperature of wax rises. If you add the fragrance at too high a temperature the Internet says it will have trouble binding to the wax... I used 2 wicks per candle because my goals is to get them to smell (throw) as much as possible. The wick stickers held tightly to the bottom of the jar. The wicks burn nicely. The wick centering tool worked great. Once the wicks settled a bit my sister anchored them with pieces of tape because we were making so many candles and the kit only has two metal wick centering devices I waited 48 hours and burned my candles. They are burning nice and evenly. Not smoking, not tunneling. Throwing scent reasonably well given how small the candles are. Great introductory kit that allowed us to – within an hour of Internet research – not completely screw up our first batch of candles 😁😁. Good luck!
