Bought it for a friend who said it was perfect.

I got these because i was tired of waiting for the chief to order accountability tags for our members. Purchased clasps and key rings so they could clamp to their helmets and accountability rings on the rigs. They look "unprofessional" but they function for keeping track of my crews. Luckily our district 1, so I was able to issue them numbers based on their radio number and wrote our county and their name on the back side with a ultra fine tip sharpie. The holes for the key rings are super durable and the back of the tags hold the sharpie ink very well. I've had them in use for 4 months and luckily they've only been passed between rings and helmets. I know it will only help to account for my guys, but I can only make suggestions to our mutual aid companies.

I purchased this to tag my animals. The tool works with the tags. The needles that came with it to hold the tags were all the same size. These tags needed a slightly larger needle to hold them on. I was able to make it work as is, with a little headache to go along with it. So far the tags all have stayed on as designed. I recommend verifying the needle holder size by the seller.

Great tags we run about 300 meat goats and we use the tags so we can keep track what babies go to what goat. After year two they have not faded at all which I was worried about. Easy to read from far away Hope this helps someone.

Used to identify hives in our apiary. They do the trick and seem to wear well so far.

Tags are OK, but backing pin didn’t work at all. Application tool never seated backing pin into tag. As everyone of the backing pin bent and didn’t seat in the ear tag.

These tags were pretty flimsy and broke rather quickly--even from calves. I would choose something much more sturdy next time.
