Solid mount
Works great! I appreciate that it is aluminum instead of plastic as it will get lots of hard use in the mountains.

Good Price But Attaching Screw Head is Too Large
I have some middle of the road 15x52 binoculars that I needed a tripod adapter for. The price on this adapter is very good. My binoculars, like many sharing a similar design, have a small space between the barrels, which are adjusted to fit the interpupillary distance of the user. When that distance is small, there is very little room between the barrels for a tripod adapter. This adapter is narrow front to back, except for the screw used to tightened it to the binoculars.First thing I tried was removing the rubber cover over the screw, which was pretty large. But even after doing there, there was still too much distance. The other problem is having a finger tight screw end does not allow for getting the adapter reasonable tight so it does not move around on the tripod. My solution, which I was able to do with parts in the workshop, was to remove the factory mounting screw (you need to remove a small locking ring) and replace the screw with a 1/4"x20 x 1" hex socket black bolt. Luckily, I had a length of 1/4" ID bronze bushing so the assembly would fit tight. I used a 1/4" flat washer on one end and a small o-ring to hold the bolt in place when it was not in use. Using a 3/16" Allen wrench, I am able to get this very tight. It is easy to mount and to remove.I think the picture is self explanatory. (The picture does not show the o-ring, however.)

Works
Anyone with large high power binoculars knows they are difficult to hold steady. This device lets you attach them to a tripod you already have and keep them steady for sky-gazing. They work fine and are not very expensive. This mount is not as good as a purpose-built astronomical tripod with a clockwork timer to automatically move the binoculars as the Earth turns, but they are also a whole lot less costly than that.

Good First Impression of SVBONY
Just received, but looks like a good choice for tripod adapter for binocs. Fastens securely to Bushnell Powerview 10x50 and Bushbell Pacifica 20x50, no washer needed for firm attachment. Looks more stable than the bent strap adapters. Several firms appear to sell this same adapter under different brands, but SVBONY had best price, even though shipping took a few extra days compared to others.

It is made with good materials
It is well made but would have been nice if it had been made to be reversible to help with balancing with some larger Binoculars

A great product
I recently bought a new pair of binoculars as I love star watching when I am camping. In the summer me and the wife go camping A LOT! I have a good pair of 10x50's that work good. I found a pair of 16x50's that looked nice, so I bought them. They are nice. However, it is very hard to get and keep a clear picture due to the extra power they have. One of the things I like to watch is the International Space Station go over. It is usually very easy to find and see. Sometimes twice in 1 night. I quickly came to the conclusion that I would need a tripod mount to get the full benefit out of the new binoculars. So I bought the mount in question. NO complaints at all. It works great. Down the road I might buy a second one. Best wishes to all.
