Premium Natural Semi-Permanent Hair Color113 Forest Green (8oz)

I wanted a medium dark green hair dye that didn't fade to blue, and this was it. On bleached hair it's a vibrant grass green, and on my natural medium brown roots it's a greenish brown-black. It didn't stain my bathtub when I washed it out, which was a plus. Washing my hair only twice a week (using cold water) helped maintain the color. Over time it fades to a pretty neon green. By the 2.5-month mark I've gone back to hot water (got lazy) and my hair is yellow-ish, but still feels super healthy. I will be a repeat customer for this hair dye. Photos are, in order: freshly dyed, 1 week, 1.5 months, and 2.5 months.

I mix this Forest Green shade with Iroiro's Neon Green or Green 110 to achieve this shade. (Front pieces are Manic Panic Electric Lizard.) Iroiro is a beautiful, rich colored dye with a creamy consistency. Very easy to apply. This dye runs and stains the least out of any deep green dye I have used. It will fade quickly if you don't do proper color care like washing in cold water, sulfate free shampoo, etc. I get about 2 months of wear before I redye and even then a lot of pigment is still in my hair.

I recently died my hair green (shooting for an emerld/forest green) but used a true green to avoid the issues with a blue green fade out. Because of that it slightly missed the mark of the color I was going for. Its not to far off and easily adjustable. But I love the product. super easy to apply, smells amazing and left my hair feeling great after. Im a natural blonde so I didnt have to prebleach prior and was hoping the darker areas would add dimension which it did. The color turned out very pretty and still looked great and I wore it as is for a couple weeks before I did the punky color aquamarine shampoo depositor to get the exact color i was looking for. Both the products are amazing and I will definitely be using IROIRO again. They have a great selection of colors. Also a plus is that it comes in multiple sizes online. Instore most beauty supplies only carry the smaller tube for more than the large tube price. Buying it online and in the larger tubes is def the way to go. The resealable cap is a plus. Just make sure you thoroughly mix it before applying. I did notice spots on others where they didnt and they randomly ended with a black stripe here and there. I poured mine into a bowl and mixed it real well and had zero issues. Its thick so no dripping issues but not so think it doesnt spread, its the perfect consistency in my opinion

Easy thick texture to work with, but a pain to squeeze into my bowl. I'm not a fan of the scent, kind of like crayons, but I did like the coverage and boldness of the color. The Forrest green was deeply pigmented and true to tone. I like other brands better, but would definitely get it again if I wanted a specific color they carry.

No burn. No smell. Makes your hair soft. Still running out on third wash. Fingers stained.

This does not work on dark blond/light brown hair. I have green professionally dyed in, and wanted to touch up my roots. Figured this would at least stick and make them darker/muddy green/blackish as most green dyes do to my hair. My hair is very porous hair and color usually sticks very well. The first sign this hair dye wasn’t going to stay on my hair was that it washed off my neck, face, and anywhere else on my skin, in the shower, with no problem (using water and normal body wash). Usually after coloring, my scalp is 100% green for at least 3 washes. I came out after the rise of this hair dye with an ever-so-lightly tinted scalp. The color had completely washed off the light part of my natural hair within 3 washes. It felt like a decent waste of time (having to apply it, and waiting for it to sit) and money using this product, and having nothing to show for it two weeks later. One thing I DID like about this product is this dye is actually GREEN, whereas my experience with other colored dye brands tend to be more blue pigmented (to compensate for yellow from bleaching).
