My dryer stopped and had an error code that the vent was plugged. I got the brush kit and it worked great it cleaned out all the lint. It was easy to use just be careful to run the drill per instructions or you can get the sections unscrewed and then big problems. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to save having someone come out and clean their vent.

like how the rods are bendable, but with that being said they are too bendable and have to be careful when using with a drill. I bent one of the rods @ a 180 degree angle when it twisted on itself and it became unusable.

When we had our new dryer installed, we blew out the vent with a Shop-Vac before they hooked it up, and thought it was cleaned. The The new dryer wasn't efficient either. They're a pair guy told us to buy this kit and that we would be surprised what came out of the wall. We were. Such a simple fix. Maybe we wouldn't have even needed a new dryer if we had done this in the first place. One minor issue with it. Is that part of it? Came detached inside the wall but luckily I was able to reach in and grab it, it wasn't too far stuck. Screwed it on properly so we have been user error. Still giving it five stars.

This works great to clean your dryer vent.The design of the product is perfect, allowing it to be flexible while also reaching many feet into your vents. When you’re done they are easily put away back into a small bag for storing.

I purchased the 15 foot product. It was easy to use and did a great job clearing lint from the vent. I watched some videos and learned there are a few caveats to performing this service yourself: 1) make certain the extension pieces are well secured. It's probably a good idea to use vice grips or channel locks to make the connections tight and even use duct tape to further secure the joint; I felt comfortable with hand tightening and duct tape since this was a short run from dryer to outside of house. 2) REMEMBER: make certain your drill is always turning clockwise that helps prevent the connections from separating. I used a central vacuum to do an initial cleaning and repeated its use after using the brush. Consult a video or two to get a visual clue as to what you should do but it is a simple process which will reduce the risk of fire and improve the efficiency of your dryer. I definitely recommend this product.
