Great soup for the price

I love to use mushroom soup in my cooking, it is so adaptable ti many uses. I didn’t think I would like the taste of low fat but it is great too.

I bought this hoping I could use it like gravy over brown rice since it is "condensed"". When I opened the can, i found it was very thin and watery. I've never seen condensed soup this thin. Following a recipe for thickening soup by adding flour to it, I added a can of water to it and warmed it on the stove. Then I poured a portion of the soup into a bowl and slowly stirred two rounded tablespoons of whole wheat bread flour in to mix it. I had to put it in the microwave for 30 seconds to get it to thicken. The result was passable for a first try after adding some pepper and garlic salt to it. I hope to improve the result with some experimentation.As soup, it is a fail. Too watery and tasteless.

I love this soup because it's a little better than Campbells which I've used all my life, and it's a little bit cheaper too. Good Deal!
