Tastes delicious and has long shelf life
I add the powdered milk to tea as it makes it delicious. It's easy to stir in, dissolves well. Also powdered milk lasts a long time, so if you're out of milk for tea this is a good substitute for those situations. A good pantry item. So glad this is available to order online.

Absolutely Best Powdered Milk I've ever Tasted.
I love this powdered milk. Works in cooking & drinks. I will continue to buy this milk. I'm not buying fresh milk as much anymore unless I'm making yogurt. I make my own pancake mix with this milk in a large mason jar. So all I add is an egg & water to have easy homemade pancakes. If I added powdered egg to the mix, I would have a camping pancake mix without nasty artificial ingredients. I grew up drinking powder milk while camping. Often (especially American brands & Nestle) powdered milk is nasty. However, this milk is tasty. You can always add chocolate or vanilla powder as flavor enhancement for children & childlike adults. We put this milk in coffee or tea instead of cream. My son uses it in his cereal & oatmeal. I make homemade yogurt & add this milk to the regular milk to boost taste & protein. Definitely recommend!

high quality, great in coffee!
High quality milk powder. I use this in my coffee to make a quick and easy latte. Perfect to use in coffee and is so much better for you than the fake creamers.

Good investment
Since buying fresh milk usually ends up with me throwing 3/4s of the container away I was pleasantly surprised to find this product I only like whole milk and keep milk powder around just for cooking because it is skim milk and vile for drinking but not this one it is very tasty in fact I like it as much as the fresh and it is instant which makes dissolving very easy and you can easily make one glass at a time so no waste. If you only occasionally drink milk this is the way to go, not cheap but cheaper then throwing milk away.

I can't say anything too bad about this milk, but...
See, I had used up my other whole, powdered milk to make yogurt and thought I might try a different brand. That's what led me to this milk. The odd thing is, this is more...granulated than powdered if that makes sense. It doesn't make yogurt as well as my other powdered milk and it doesn't froth up to make my latte tea as well either, but it does taste really good as a liquid milk when I want a glass or to pour over my cereal. Maybe it's the way in which it is dried...I don't know. All I can say is that it's good for some things but not as good for others. Again, the taste is very good.

LOVE!
I always keep powdered milk on hand - always! I use it for baking and to make the emergency batch of milk until I can get to the store. But I don't like that fact that nearly all the American made powdered milk brands are low fat or skim, so I ordered this the first time about 5 or 6 years ago. I will never go back! When you open the can, it smells like MILK! It dissolves very easily in lukewarm water and tastes good! My bread dough LOVES it as much as I do! Yes, it has a very high fat content, but I generally use it in cooking, it adds a lovely creaminess that you will never get from those low fat and skim versions. The only gripe i have is that the plastic lid does tend to tear with use, so I would decant it into another container to prolong freshness.

Very, very close to fresh milk
I ordered a 2.5 Kg barrel of Red Cow for our emergency supplies just based on reviews. But I was so intrigued with reviews saying it's "just like" fresh whole milk that I wanted to try it myself. So, not wanting to open the big barrel, I also ordered this 900g can to test it out, and have on-hand for "minor emergencies" like when we're out of milk and I'm too lazy to run to the store. Mixed up a quart and did a blind taste test with the wife. The verdict: While we could tell which was which with them side-by-side, the Red Cow is very, very close to fresh milk.. Had some more later without the direct comparison and found it creamy and entirely drinkable. My only previous experience with powdered milk was some generic no-fat stuff we tried 20 or 30 years ago that was awful, so we avoided all powdered milk up until now. Just goes to show, things are not always created equal. Because Red Cow is fantastic! I guess my greatest concern is not using it up fast enough after opening the can. The plastic lid really isn't a very good seal, and I've had buttermilk powder we use for baking turn into a brick from the humidity. So, I transferred most of the powder to sealed Mylar bags with oxygen absorbers. The little 1/2 pint bags that come with most Mylar kits hold exactly 1 cup of the powder, which happens to be the perfect amount for mixing up 1 quart of milk. I also found some pour-tops for Mason jars here on Amazon and ordered a couple to fit to quart jars we already had. This turns out to be a great set-up - pour a 1 cup pouch of Red Cow powder into a quart jar, fill it with water, and shake it up. That's generally going to be plenty to hold us over until we get to the grocery store next. And, BTW, not dents in either can.
