Q: Is this solid copper or copper plated?

I know that that they are solid and not plated because I sacrificed a few with the grinder to make sure. :-) Note that "solid/not plated" and "solid copper" are somewhat different questions. One would need to perform a chemical analysis to determine whether they are "solid copper" or "solid copper alloy of some sort." They are nicely formed and behave like copper; that is good enough for me.
