All Weather Guard - Barrier Cream for Skin, 16oz, Great Cold Weather Protection and Personal Care Aid for Enhanced Circulation

My son has Cold Urticaria, an allergy to to cold. He breaks out in hives, swells and requires an EpiPen because of CU. What Warm Skin has done for him, is allow him to play soccer. While he still cannot practice the entire time sweating in the cold weather,( even with the Warm Skin he still broke out in hives on his face from the sweat presumably) it allows him longer play time. How do I know this? One evening I forgot to apply the Warm Skin to my son and he had a terrible reaction. Not only did he break out in hives on his face. But they were continuing down his covered neck and shoulder area. His face was swelling very quickly and he began to cough. I always keep Benadryl on hand in our Emergency bag with warm up supplies, so was able to reverse this situation quickly. We don’t let him outside for a lot of cooler weather activities including recess at school. If we are home and have the time to apply the cream (which is nice and thick, with no strong odors), and let it sit for the required 15 minutes before exposure then my little boy can have short tastes of closely monitored childhood. He has honestly never been more thrilled to be able to continue to play soccer this fall/autumn. He is now looking forward to being able to go out on Halloween, even if just for 30 minutes to an hour. Without the cream we would have had to say no way! I still won’t let him play in the snow, but it may perhaps help winter trips to the store or dr. I know this cream wasn’t meant for people with an illness, but am incredibly grateful that it helps my child. All I can say is thank you! It has made a terrible allergy more tolerable for a child.

I have patches of skin that are always cold. Especially when in an airconditioned environment. This leads to general discomfort and Post nasal drip. Technically called Cold urticaria. Warm skin works. But I find Vaseline is just better based on my unscientific cost benefit analysis. 1. Vaseline is just as effective as warm skin. 2. Warm skin is not as greasy as Vaseline, but it is at about 50%. Vaseline's greasiness goes away after a few mins. Also, if you put on Vaseline while your skin is wet, it goes on easier. 3. Vaseline is much cheaper. Cost of 16oz Warm skin can buy you Vaseline for years. 4. If the effectiveness is the same, why put on more ingredients from warm skin, when Vaseline has only 1 ingredient? 5. Warm skin washes away with water and sweat. Vaseline stays on for at least a bit longer. In short, give Vaseline some serious consideration first. Try it for at least a few weeks.

I have Reynauds which causes my hands and toes to be cold and often turn white and painful. This cream works well to keep my hands warmer and more comfortable. I especially like the natural ingredients, no heavy artificial scents! It has a nice natural smell, not bad but not anything you would use just for the scent, very nice! I have recommended this product to several fellow Reynauds sufferers and they also liked it. The cream has a different texture from most lotions, almost like a whipped feel, but it is easy to apply and scoop out of the large container.

Did not help keep fingers and toes warm. I also gave some to a friend and she had the same result. I will keep trying to find a product that helps with Raynaud's symptoms, but this is not it. It IS a rich hand cream and I will continue to use it especially during the winter months.

I have Lupus so my toes get do Cold that they turn Black and blue and take weeks to go back to normal . I bought this and it helps a lot with wool socks I'm outdoor lot for long periods of time . Thank you.

This lotion is for more than outdoorsy folks and athletes. This lotion is great. I apply it on my ailing 84 year old father twice a week. He had terrible problems with dry itchy skin. So much so that it would wake him and he would scratch till he bled. We had tried many different lotions, oils, and creams on him and none of them worked like Warm Skin does. The lotion is a very thick cream...almost a creamy paste. After bathing my father, I fist apply Sween Moisturizing Skin / Body Lotion Xtra-Care for diabetics (which used alone did not help him much). I then apply Warm Skin. It seems to lock in the moisture. His frail, dry skin had improved drastically in just 2 weeks. It has now been about 6 weeks and his skin is much more supple. He is no longer waking duringthe night and scratching till he bleeds....which means less laundry and fist aid for me to do. I will be buying more. I am so glad I decided to give it a try.

I bought this originally because when outdoors in the winter I was putting vaseline on my face and this cream sounded like a better choice. My first order was for the smaller tube size, but this cream is great even for indoors, it keeps my cheeks from feeling dry for hours and I haven't had any finger cracks since I started using it (had a few incipient almost-cracks but none that cracked open). Also, it soaks in really well and doesn't have the slimy feeling that other skin lotions have, so it doesn't make a mess on my phone screen. So I purchased it again in the bigger tub size. The only tiny negative I've experienced with it is if I put too much on my skin, once enough soaks in the little bit left becomes crumbs. But I can avoid that by using a smaller amount and adding more if necessary.

I used this one day when it was 0 - Zero degrees here in Minneapolis on Thanksgiving Day, 2014. I not only put it on my hands, but my feet and face. I was running a 5K race and honestly! I was very warm. I could feel how warm my feet were (and yes, I was also wearing Smart Wool Sox), but I think this made a huge difference! It's not that I'm excited to be able to use it here, but I know that I have Warm Skin and it will certainly help keep the freezing cold away from wherever I put it on! Great product; I only wish that I'd thought of it!!
