I have been using these CORSAIR VENGEANCE Pro DDR4 32gb for over 1 year now. The RGB look great and are a prominent display in the fish tank, These RAM have never let me down, and never found wanting. They have been working perfectly now for over a year of medium to heavy usage. I did research them at some point as these specific model LC18-22-22-42 are from a good bin. Good quality, working as intended so far.

Very nice RAM, easy to install and looks great

Corsair VENGEANCE RGB PRO DDR4 RAM 32GB I recently upgraded from 16gb DDR4 Corsair 3600mhz to 32gb with this kit (gave the 16gb kit to my son) so I knew what to expect with controlling the RGB lighting with the iCue app, it's very simple to use and if you don't want the extra bloat of the app it will work just fine rotating RGB colours without it. With AM4 you really should use 3600mhz to match the infinity fabric clock of your cpu @ 1800mhz so that's why I again went for 3600mhz. As far as the upgrade from 16gb to 32gb the whole system feels a little snappier especially when browsing with multiple windows open and even more so when Alt-Tab ing out of a game to go look something up on the net, it was laggy as hell when doing this before, so definitely a worthy upgrade in my opinion. I've since upgraded the CPU and GPU in my system and I'm super happy with the performance, long live AM4, lol.

Before we get started, a few things: 1. 3600MHz is the advertised Overclock speed, so it will not work at this frequency as soon as you plug it in. 2. As with all computer parts, there is a “silicon lottery”, and your kit might not be the very best of the bunch. I've bought two of these kits (for a total of 64GB of RAM) and after spending some time setting them up, they work at the advertised speed, BUT you need to enable XMP in your BIOS/UEFI and gradually up the frequency and/or voltage. One thing to mention is that on my mobo, having them in XMP2 was unstable, but XMP works well. I managed to get mine up to 3400MHz with XMP. If you’re willing to go the extra mile and do manual OC, you should get 3600+MHz. Now, the lighting, whilst it's really bright and highly customisable, I have seen better. This is mainly due to the diffusion layer coupled with too few LEDs. This combination means that you will be able to make out the individual LEDs, but if you're not that bothered with this aspect, then these are a solid choice for a DDR4 kit. The last thing to mention is that lighting effects are controlled through iCUE, and that’s a take-it-or-leave-it thing. You cannot manage the lighting through any other software.
