It's hard to find a good basic comb in a drug store. Your will be happy with this sturdy comb that is not made of cheap plastic. I think it is worth the added cost. It is good value for money.

Well made, no sharp teeth, no static. Great for combing hair. They didn't make any difference in how I look, except my hair wasn't sticking up.

Whether these are really carbon fiber I do not know, but they are very sturdy and well made. I am used to a lighter tapered "barber's comb", but these are working out well.

Obviously not carbon fiber as one would think. The mold lines on each end and lack of visible fibers are a pretty dead givaway. Luckily while trimming off the mold lines, I think I was able to identify the material as a Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer CFRP. Probably of Intermediate Modulus given the relative flexibility. Which is cool I guess. Chicago combs does the same thing. Though apart from the extra rigidity and possible temperature resistance, I'm not sure why this would be a desirable thing in a comb. Luckily I'm a sucker for being able to test out new material designs on the cheap. Only $4 for three combs seems like a safe bet. The width/tooth length is better than my Dupont Starfire or my big blue Krest barber comb that's around the same size. The teeth aren't saw-cut smooth but I can't detect any drag caused by a mold line hidden in the teeth. Meaning a good finishing process during the manufacturing. The rigidity and user feel are also pretty good. It's way too rigit, large and sharp for pocket carry so these will be spread around the house to see how they do. Time will tell on the rest.

Its a comb that works but the body could have been thicker and larger for improved rigidity. However, 3 stars for false advertising. These combs are PLASTC, not carbon fiber. You can clearly see the gate nubs from the injection moulding process.

Needed a new comb after one too many bristles broke off the only one I've had for years. You can pay almost 3 times as much for a 1 pack of "brand" names... it's a comb for crying out loud. Its also longer which makes it easier to grip. I put my razor next to it for size comparison.

These came smooth with zero seam lines, and feel very sturdy. I'm very happy with them, they're great for teasing out really bad snarls in hair. I have zero worries that they'll snap while doing so.
