I love this blue oil in my 200 year old oil lamps. The color is gorgeous. The product is smokeless and doesn’t put black soot in the air or on ceiling. Fantastic product!

Good, clean lamp oil. I use it in my camping lantern. I got blue because it's my favorite color and not because I use it in glass lamps, but I appreciate it.

A little irritating - I bought this version specifically because of the filler tip that is pictured in the product listing. I guess they did away with that style some time ago and now the bottle comes with a childproof flat cap and a cheap boston-type nozzle cap that you can swap out. Works ok, just messier. I am so tired of product photos or descriptions on here not matching the product received!!Otherwise this is nice lamp oil. The blue is a good deep blue, not lighter in shade like a couple other brands. Burns clean and only the faintest of smell when extinguished with very little smoke. If it smokes a lot when burning or extinguishing you likely have too much wick exposed, so shorten it or live with the effects and it'll be the same with any oil (worse with lower quality/less refined ones).I think this is pretty overpriced - been awhile since I purchased lamp oil but there are still good quality brands for considerably less money (especially if you just want plain clear without dye). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this one, though, and might buy again.
