My AC intake is in my living room near the couch and noticed that these are much quieter than the Filtrete MPR 1200D MERV 11 Allergen Reduction Plus Dust filters, which is what I've been using. I can hear my TV again! I was afraid to bump up the filter level because people claim it's worse for your AC by reducing airflow, but these have a lot more pleats, are sturdier, and the airflow is much better. I'll be buying these from now on!

Decent filters, but they are too expensive and don’t last 90 days in my household. Have to be changed every 30-45 days at least. For reference, I live in an 880 sq ft apartment with a small dog and small cat and I keep the place very clean. But these filters don’t last nearly as long as other pleated filters that I have used. I have severe allergies to dust and pollen, and these do help with that, but not for 90 days. So depending on your area and the amount of allergens in the air, will determine the frequency you will need to replace. Not sure I will purchase these again due to the high price though, as they perform exactly the same as the much less expensive pleated filters I normally get.
