Levi's Men's Casual Everyday Two-in-One Reversible Belt

I received this product in a plastic bag. It was interesting to find it packaged in such a way but that's not what you're reading this for. This belt goes great with jeans and other pants like khakis. I ordered a size 36 when I wear a size 34 which is what you should do when buying a belt. Reason being that if you buy a belt that is the same size as your waist, you're going to be limited in how much you can adjust the belt in terms of size. In terms of width, the belt fits fine with the pants I wear, probably because I have a lot of Levi's pants but I'd like to think unless you wear special pants or something, that this would be no issue. Another feature that I almost forgot to mention is the reversible part of this belt. This is very convenient since a black belt or a brown belt won't go with all types of pants. To reverse the belt, all you have to do is pull the buckle away from the belt, and twist the buckle 180 degrees. Once that is done, you're ready to use the belt.

This is a very well made, good looking belt. The brown side has a kind of a dull, worn leather look to it, and the black side has more of a sheen. The buckle is fairly large, heavy and sturdy. The belt is double stitched, so it should stand up to a lot of use. The sizing of the belt is accurate, but if you order it too big (as I did), that's easily fixed. The buckle is anchored to the belt with two pointed set screws, so if you need to make it smaller, just use an eyeglass screwdriver to remove the buckle, and you'll be able to trim it to the size that you need. I don't think that it's really a "dressy" belt, mainly because of the size of the buckle. But, for casual clothes and jeans, this is just the ticket.

Without being the greatest, is a good belt, the only issue is the size, I should have ordered a 2 Sizes bigger, instead of 1 only, I am a 34 waist size, and I ordered 36 as I usually do, so the belt fits my waist, but there is only 1 more hole left, so I am not totally satisfied with this matter, should have order size 38... any way, I probably will order another one (cause is a really good belt), and give this one to my nephew whose got the right size for this one...

First, the quality of this belt is excellent and I really like the stylish buckle. Second, the size of the belt is accurate. I mention this because some of the reviewers complained about the belt being too short and suggested ordering the next size up. Most belt manufacturers say to measure the belt length from where the buckle attaches (or pivots for this particular buckle design) to the center hole. Using that measurement guide, this size 40 belt measures 40.5 inches. As a general rule, men should select a belt size that is approximately 2 inches longer than their pants size. But that rule only works if the belt manufacturer measures the belt size as described above. In my case I wear a size 38 pants and ordered the size 40 Levi belt. So I am very satisfied with this purchase.

It looks the same as the one I’ve got from Macys about 6 years ago, but the one from Macys is very nice and soft, it just started to fade so I decided to replace it. It’s either Levi’s reduced quality of their product or the one I got here is not real Levi’s

I first bought this belt in July 2013 and I'm requesting a new one for my birthday in August 2016. This belt not only looks great, but has held up remarkably well showing only minor wear over the last 3 years. I wear it nearly everyday. It goes with both my casual attire (jeans & t-shirt) but also my business attire (I wear a tie to work nearly everyday). I also wear an inside-the-waistband gun holster when I'm not at work and this belt, in my opinion, is as good as an expensive gun belt holding my concealed carry set-up in a very secure manner. For reference, my concealed carry set-up consists of a subcompact Springfield XD w/Crimson Trace laser and a custom holster from Multi-Holsters.

The photo is misleading. Of course back in the 70's and 80's most everyone wore Levi jeans and shirts. So I have since changed brands due to inconsistency and irregularity with their jeans. I thought since this was a belt, what could be messed up with that. I was thinking because the photo shows two belts it was a bargain. When I received my order and had only one belt I thought WHAT? I went back and viewed the order. Since it is reversible, they are showing two belts, but that makes people think it is a two for one. Because of this, and the confusion caused by the photo of two belts, I can't recommend purchasing this product. This seems to be a "marketing gimmick" and they have passed in flying colors. I imagine many people thought the same. The belt is okay, nothing special or unique, but knowing this I could have much easier and less time consuming gone to my local W store and purchased a reversible leather belt for less and had it right away. Not impressed.
