Good American style cheese.
This is a fairly small, white block of cheese that comes unsliced. It can be stored at room temperature for over a year, which makes the a very handy item to keep in cupboard for emergency dinners, or if we do the someone's and shortages but again. It is best to chill this before use though as it is quite soft at room temperature and difficult to make nice even slices. If chilled it is a breeze. I don't know how long it will keep once opened because it is never going to last more than a week or two in our house. Our family loves cheese. The taste is quite good. It is very similar to the sliced processed cheese you can sometimes find in butcher's shops or large cash and carry places, usually called burger slices or processed cheese slices. It's however nicer than even the best of these. I had hoped this would be like Velveeta, which is terribly expensive, and it isn't quite, but there are some things I would prefer Velveeta for and others where I prefer this. If you have ever had the old Kraft blue box cheese, then this is closer to that one. I do think this one is healthier choice, more milk, less oil.I find this perfect for burgers, or sandwiches. This is ideal for any recipe calling for American cheese. It makes wonderful tacos, nachos and macaroni and cheese. But my absolute favourite for this is just to eat slices of it on its own, or make ham and cheese toasties with tomato soup. Just butter the outside of two slices of bread, add some ham and cheese and put it in a toastie maker or cook in a fry pan.My only complaint is the box is a bit small, but then I guess that's the way it goes when you order specialty ingredients not available in stores. It is only a fraction of the price of the competition so I can't complain. I do wish they had bigger boxes though or a bulk discount. It would be cheaper to buy the slices if you can find them, but this is easier to store, tastes better and is delivered to the door. Just be aware it doesn't have the food colouring most processed cheeses do, so if you are set on it being orange, give this a miss. We prefer fewer chemicals anyway. And if you want nice neat slices, remember to chill it before use.I suppose the best test of how much a family likes an item is how quickly they buy it again. We bought this about a week ago and I have already ordered a second box.

Small block, tastes good, doesn't melt
The flavour of this cheese is nice and sharp, like a mature cheddar. Great to slice for burgers and chilli cheese dogs or just to hack off lumps and munch on. It really does taste good. As a product in it's own right - it's fine. Sadly like many others, I'm looking for something to replace Velveeta to keep and American ex-pat happy with a comfort food taste of home. And so...What's not so good is paying nearly £8 for a 400g block of cheese that you hoped would be an acceptable alternative to Velveeta. Cheaper than Velveeta but not nearly close - let alone a replacement. It's almost impossible to melt at any temperature that doesn't subsequently melt the steel pan it's in.I think I'll stick to having friends and family members US side send Velveeta over via DHL - it's still cheaper than paying UK prices for replacements that aren't.

Taste of my past
Love the taste of this cheese. Looked for years to track it down, my mum used to buy it when i was young and i eventually found it online. Quite expensive for the size of it which is no doubt down to the delivery costs. Shame it isn't stocked by one or more of the large supermarkets.

Disappointed
The flavour was not as I expected and is very expensive.

Just like Subway!
I've been on a quest to find a processed cheese that is just like the American Cheddar they use on Subway sandwhiches. In the UK the closest thing is cheese singles but they are far too tangy for that Subway taste. This is almost identical! Very happy with the flavour but at just over £7 for a small block it's definitely pricey, wish we could get this in the UK without the price tag.

Poor Velveeta substitute
Grim. I thought it would be a good, cheaper substitute for Velveeta, but it was vile tasting and hard to melt. I ended up chucking it out.

Very satisfied
A little bit expensive but the taste is really good. I remember the old cheddar cheese that I loved when I was younger, creamy and delicious. I will recommend it

Try this cheese!
Lovely, juat right as I imagined it would be, I've already used it for a toasted sandwich, and can't wait to have it on a burger 🍔 it's not enormous it's true, but I didn't think it would be. As there's only me that likes this sort of cheese I'm happy. Tonight it's going into my pasta, really looking forward to it, it should last me a long time, and then I'll go back for more!! Try it!
