I have a very dry and flaky scalp and someone recommended sulphuric 8 products. After using the shampoo and conditioning grease, my scalp was almost instantly better. I was my locs weekly and usually by day 3, I’m itching and flaking. That definitely did not occur with the shampoo and the grease. However, the grease smell is too intense for my liking. I have the nose of a bloodhound and I could still smell the grease on day 6. It wasn’t as strong as day 1, but I could still smell it and I hate it. The oil is a much better smell and had the same effect for me. No itching!!! Small flaking here and there but I’ve only used it twice. Nothing has ever worked this fast.

My niece scalp itches from all other oils, so I had to buy the old school product and it helps her. This is the only hair oil that doesn't cause itchiness on her scalp.

The smell is light and not horrible like the sulfur 8 grease. You don't have to use a lot. My scalp started flaking a lot out of nowhere for the past few months. Tried all types of oils and nothing worked. Tried this and it immediately stopped the flakes. This will be the only oil I use on my scalp from here on out.
