Happy human and comfortable kitty
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. My kitty got neutered yesterday and he didn’t really like the buster cone, wasn’t expecting much from this but it is actually amazing, he is using it has a pillow, he can eat, drink, go potty and play in this. He is generally much happier in this and he looks dressed for a period drama. The old buster collars touched his whiskers and makes him loose balance, whereas this does not touch them, he has awareness and doesn’t bump into things anymore. He cannot lick his balls no more but he can reach the tip of his tail, so I wouldn’t suggest if your cat has a injury on the top bit of their tail. But for everyone else who don’t want to put their cats through the torture of cone of shame this is perfect! My kitty is about 4 - 5kg and this fits perfectly, if you cats bigger I would suggest for a bigger one.

So much kinder - all vets should issue this as standard
Our little cat had to have abdominal surgery three days ago. He came home from the vet with the standard issue plastic cone which he absolutely hated. As soon as he got home, he ran round the room bumping into the walls, falling over etc as he was so distressed and disorientated. Within three minutes he'd escaped from it, so we tried the cat-babygrow from the vet - we managed to get that on him but same thing, he was really distressed by that too, running around, getting his back legs caught in it and falling over. Within 5 minutes he'd escaped from that too, somehow wriggling it down over the back of his body and out over his tail. It was all extremely upsetting both for him and us. We couldn't let him lick his wound so I ordered a couple of alternative style collars and then me and my husband took turns for an all-night vigil to make sure he didn't get to his stitches. This arrived the next day and it's been amazing. We slipped it over his head really easily at its widest 'setting' then pulled the drawstring to the correct length around his neck. There was no stress putting it on him, and no alarmed cat whatsoever. He's used to wearing a normal cat collar so I think that helped. To begin with he knew there was something different when he stands up but because he can't see it properly I don't think he really realises what it is. He can eat fine with it, and he's getting used to not being able to wash himself all over like he normally would. The best bit is when he's lying down, it provides a really comfy pillow for him, so he's resting well - it's added a new level of luxury to his little cat world! This has saved so much stress and taken away the need for 24/7 surveillance to stop him getting to his wound. I don't know why the vets even bother with the hard plastic cones as this is really soft, it wasn't too expensive, it arrived the next day and is so much kinder. We also bought one of the inflatable collars but haven't even bothered trying that, this one went on straight away, he hasn't tried to remove it even once and he seems completely comfortable with it.The only downer is it's not cool for his tough guy image but we've removed any mirrors from the room so he's blissfully unaware... :-)

Fab cat collar
Our cat has very bad dermatitis in his tail and we were told to fit him with a buster cone but it totally stressed him out. I looked at the reviews for this product and ordered it with fingers crossed. Result!! It’s beautifully easy to fit, light enough for him to wear easily and most importantly, stops him licking where he shouldn’t. It took him a few minutes to work out the dimensions, it’s quite long so he has a catwalk model stride now! It also gives him a nice little pillow to sleep on, and I may be biased but I think he looks adorable in it!

Best I’ve tried.
My rescue cat has an allergy to flea bites and keeps over-grooming, and making his skin very sore. Vet gave steroids and antibiotics- and a plastic cone. He hated the cone, couldn’t eat/drink comfortably with it. I triedseveral other types of cone to prevent over grooming. The inflatable (£11.40!)one lasted a day.. got my money back. Softer cone was ok but my cat could remove it in seconds. (See blue one) - so bought this one. Much more comfortable than others and I can stroke him. Other cones weren’t as comfortable for him. He could also remove it but I attached it to a harness so he couldn’t pull it off. He can reach his paws and tail. So, not perfect but best I’ve come across.

Is great product but not full proof
Really happy with this product for 1st 24hrs as worked a treat, it looks very comfortable. The downside is he got to stitches within 24hrs which is at top of his head. If it was 2inches longer it would have been fine, so I have to buy another cone for when I am not in house to watch over him.If your cat has wound on anywhere up to back legs or head then it should work fine

comfortable and effective
Our cat came home from surgery on his urinary tract and needed to be in a cone for 2 weeks. The standard plastic cone was obviously uncomfortable for him - his whiskers were pushed against it which was making him have balance problems, and it was itchy and made it hard for him to eat and drink. Overall he just looked sad. This soft collar (we got a large, our cat is 4.5 kg) works great: his whiskers aren't constrained, he doesn't scratch the collar so it appears to be more comfortable, and he can't reach the incision at all. It's also easier for him to eat and drink, and he's able to engage in all his normal behaviors. It also works as a great pillow for him when he's sleeping. He can reach his tail, and his back feet, which is not a problem for us but something to keep in mind depending on what you are using the collar for.

Best cat collar ever
Absolutely amazing collars. My two boys got neutered and were trying to lick the wound. Hubby went and got some plastic cones and the poor babies kept bumping into things because the collar was bulky and horribly uncomfortable. I chose same day delivery and ordered these and my cats absolutely love them. They are comfortable and can eat, sleep and drink water in them without any problems. Very aesthetically pleasing, functional as they can't get to the neuter site and overall amazing product. Thank you I'm a happier cat mum because of these 😃

Comfortable and does the job
Great. Bought for my Medium sized house cat Who had a sore on her back she wouldn’t leave alone. She can eat and drink freely. Does the job and seems to be comfortable as she’s not too bothered by it although she’d prefer to rip her back
