Lovely little book to beek in my knapsack with my art supplies while drawing. Good reference material.

I just stumbled on to this book and I’m so glad I did. All colors have specific meanings and effects that are immutable! Color combinations can enliven or take away from any thing. Why is my favorite color purple and I hate yellow or green? I can apply this information in a “feng shui” style to boost my mood, creativity, energy, peace, etc.

Very small book—to be expected as a “pocket” edition! It’s great though. There’s plenty of valuable information and SO. MANY. COLOR SCHEMES. This was a great tool in my small art class when we covered the art element color.

Only reason I took a star was it came bend and in a little rough shape.. wish it was shipped with more care but otherwise very happy

This was super helpful for my son on the spectrum. He was struggling figuring out what colors matched and looked good together. He refrences the book frequently to help him decide what to wear.

The media could not be loaded. This small, pocket size book arrived new. The binding is in great condition. I am a Graphic Designer and Website Developer. This book is a great resource for serving as a color dictionary. This book is great for learning and understanding the basics of the impact, that color does to the human mind. This book is great for using the color conversion chart. This chart makes it easy to reference to the correct color combination that you want to use, for painting and digital art. The color wheel, and the various color charts are available. This book has almost an endless variety of the different color schemes- tones, shades, and tints. This book has the color charts that takes the guessing out of the color formula that you want to use for your art work. This book has easy to understand explanations that are great for the art student. The color charts and the color conversion chart, are great resources for the art teacher/instructor/professor to use. These same tools are a great resource to be used by the creative art professional - graphic designer, illustrator, digital artist, painter, or any artist who loves to express their art with color. I am soooo glad that I bought this book. It is convenient to have this book, to help to know more clearly, the best colors to combine, how much of each and why.

Not sure if anyone read through this tiny itty bitty book that far to notice this, but I bought this on Kindle first and loved it, so I bought the hard copy cuz that’s kinda my thing. I understand this is a “pocket size.” But I don’t have pockets this big and it’s obnoxiously small for the amount of info within it. I definitely prefer my Kindle copy, for sure. That being said, the print copy just isn’t right. And that’s on the publisher. Nobody ever prints a single copy of a book so I’m thinking many more are out there like this. I returned my copy and requested a new one. We’ll see if the missing pages are in the new copy.*Update: the replacement had the proper pages in the correct location.

I've been trying to get a layout and a foundation laid for my creative business. One thing I always wanted was a color palette book. Even with decorating my home, I wanted a plethora of different palettes to look upon, but I didn't want to have something so vast that it took up so much space. I thought of paint cards, I even got a different bunch of paint books from the paint section in home depot, but it wont and isn't enough. I have no problem with doing tedious work but making a diy color palette book would be nearly impossible. I also found out there are apps that provide color palettes, but I didn't want to just rely on an app for something like that. I like having all of it without waiting and relying on technology. So when I found this book I was a little nervous about getting it. When I finally received the package I was amazed of how small the book its. This color palette book is literally pocket size. I don't have to worry about putting it in my work bag because it doesn't take much space at all. Its such a small book but its loaded with various different palettes. This is the book that I need and am glad have. The pictures are printed well. and the font is a good size. This is a must have for artists and color enthusiasts.
