Excellent!
I love this guitar. Plays like a much more expensive instrument and is beautiful to look at also. I put it through the wringer and play it hard at times and it holds it’s tune beautifully. Wonderful, very versatile tonally and has sweet sustain. I was hesitant to buy online but as a prime member I knew I could return it with no issues if I wasn’t happy. Shipped in a hard case in perfect condition and was actually almost in tune! B & high E were just slightly flat. Many less expensive guitars need a professional set up done to them but this guitar was set up perfectly from the factory.

Great guitar, Very poorly setup.
The guitar is beautiful, but very poorly setup. Action was very high and the neck was bowed and the truss rod needed to be adjusted. It makes me wonder if this was not new. All SE guitar are setup in PRS US, and there is no way this came direct from PRS this way.

Not All it's Cracked Up To Be
I ordered a brand new SE Standard Hollowbody and while it was a very nice looking guitar and very light which in itself is nice feature; upon closer inspection the binding as well as the fret work but mostly the binding; looks like it was made in a toy factory and not very professional. I was comparing it to a Gretsch 5420T btw which looked much more professional from top to bottom as far as construction goes. While playing the SE, it did not have the same overall tone and range that the 5420T had, while it was very clear sounding; it sounded much more tinny and not much difference between pickup selections where the 5420 makes a statement when in both appearance and sound. It also has a deeper, louder, sharper twang and much broader range of tones between pickup selections. All in all it's a nice guitar but I think you should compare it to others before jumping the gun.
