National Hardware N262-204 V1320 Lever Latches in Black, 1-3/4"

The original handle on my screen door broke. This handle looked nice. It was pretty easy to install. It came with one size fits all screws that I had to shorted with pliers because I don’t own a saw. It came with plastic shims for the door latch. It latches well. At least with my door I have to turn the handle when opening it and closing it. Overall, for the price I would say it’s very nice.

I purchased two of these and really like them. They are very nice and expensive looking. Durability appears to be fine.My major complaint is, out of the two packages I purchased neither package had a template to use as a guide to line up product. So just had to hope the holes lined up correctly. Other than that. Great product.

Turned out to be what seems like the exact and perfect replacement for an old one gone bad. The good description on the item's listing ensured the correct choice for proper fitment. The latch feels solid and well made, and the action is very smooth. Completely satisfied and pleased with this purchase.

These handles that I bought for a two storm doors look great, and seemed substantial -- all metal construction. But 16 months later, the inner handle came off in my hand. Why? Because of a single piece of very thin plastic (a sleeve) that failed inside. VERY disappointed. Really love these, and having a hard time finding anything comparable (style-wise) from a different manufacturer.

The National Hardware N262-204 V1320 Lever Latch is a high quality screen door handle but must be mounted closer to the edge of the door than most handles I have ever seen. The part that catched the sriker is short. That made it unusable for the door I bought it for. It would be great for a new door that had no framing around the door frame, such as on a pool screen enclosure door, but otherwise it will not fit to replace an existing handle or on a door with any framing around the door opening.

The product description says it fits a 2 inch thick door. It only goes to an 1 15/16 inches.

Seems much more durable than past replacement handles for my Forever door. It fits a thicker door than the cheaper ones I've bought over the years. Hope this is a "forever latch" !

The perfect fit for our heritage Storm Door

If you have a 2 inch door this product will barely meet your needs. The bolts provided give maybe 1 full turn on the screws worth of fastening if you can get them started. The latch could be easily pulled off the door. I went to Canadian Tire and got some 8-32 X 2 1/2" machine screws. Now I have 1/4" worth of threads holding the latch pieces together.

Very nice handle. I replaced the door handle on our gazebo and it was a perfect match to the original.

Works great! Very strong and durable!. Handle is nice to hold and use. Locking mechanism works great. Dog can't pop the screen door when running at it anymore with this door handle on it and holding it securely.

Easy to install. Love that the dowel to turn the handle on the inside is metal rather than plastic.
