It's the best pan for braising and frying meat ever. Better than the non-stick. So easy to clean, it always looks like new. I love it.

This pan is a terrific size. Surprisingly useful. Sturdy. Flat. Cooks and browns food evenly and quickly on low heat. Just to note: when you first cook with this pan and after you clean it for the first time, if you're like me, you want it to shine and reflect just like when you first looked it over. It doesn't. But wait, not all is lost, no need for concern, there's an easy solution. All you have to do is wet the pan slightly, sprinkle sparingly a little Barkeepers Friend, rub in a circular motion with a nylon scrubber, and voila, the pan is just like brand-new, inside and out. All is well, and you can love this pan all over again, and forever.

I’ve traditionally been a fan of Viking. The ergonomics are great and they clean up better than any other stainless steel pans I have. But I returned one for having warped and sure enough on cup of cold water into a hot pan and this one warped too. Just terrible. Way too expensive for such a shoddy piece of cookware.

Purchased this because we wanted a bigger pan than what was in a set we had purchased. Perfect for making BIG pots of spaghetti sauce, chili, etc. Note: These pots and pans should not be used on sustained high heat. Bring it up high and then lower to no higher than medium. Hand wash whenever possible.

Absolutely love cooking I’m this!! Heat is evenly distributed and cleans easily

I love the size and proportions of this pan as I had a similar one I used all the time (which wouldn't work on my new induction stove top). However, I immediately returned this pan as I was disappointed in the unfinished, sharp rim. See for yourself in the photos attached. Of course, I cannot speak to how it was to cook with as I didn't use it, so I am giving it half the stars for my half experience. Back to All Clad or even Cuisinart I go. I am not willing to spend this kind of money for something that looks like it wasn't quite finished, won't be that easy to use (All Clad has a lovely rim for pouring), and looks like it could scrape your hand.

I love my viking cookware. I purchased the large pan for my daughter. If taken care of this cookware will last a lifetime so for me it’s worth the investment.
